Those sneaky bastards. I didn't notice they removed most of the previously available options from the 'regular' RE. No red seats, no red seatbelts, no alcantara, suede, or carbon fiber packages, and all the caliper and wheel options.
Not that I could afford such a beast, but a final FU to the coming EV future in the form of a factory Helliphant Charger/Challenger sure would be awesome.
Too much trouble to bring back old colors. Based on the color availability of almost all other '22 Stellantis vehicles we're lucky they didn't limit it to black/white/gray/silver and 1 shade of red.
I do appreciate that Dodge is finally doing the customization thing on the the top models (even at the expense of good taste), but it's something Corvette and Porsche have been cashing in on for years.
Using the configurator, it just looks like a good way to nickel and dime you to death . Extra for black tips, extra for color edged floor mats (that used to be included with the same colored leather), extra for colored badges, etc. Plus a 'greatest hits' list from multiple trim levels (Daytona...
They're built drivable (or they couldn't get them off the line). Just missing ancillary stuff like blind spot monitor, back up cam, audio, etc. They don't dyno test at the end of the line (but they do run them up to speed on rollers at one point). They also have a NVH test loop outside (at...

You want it now? Here's a '21 on the lot, no discount.
You willing to wait? Order a '22 just the way...
There's also still thousands and thousands of incomplete new '21 vehicles in lots around the country. Mostly Ford and GM, but plenty of Stella too. Wonder how those will figure into the ramp-up back to normal production?
They've been working hard to keep the cash cow plants running (1500s, new GC, Wagoneer) at the expense of most everything else. And those plants are still focused more on higher-end builds and sold orders for maximum profit from the chips (and other parts). All car lots around here are still...
I got one for my wife's Jeep. She has the V6 and the cartridge oil filter is on top, so with the extractor I don't have to get under the vehicle at all. Only used it once so far, but it got as much oil out as pulling the plug. All done in about 10 minutes too.
For my truck (or any other vehicle...
At least those F150s are parked on pavement.

"The poster of the images, who has since deleted the photos, claims GM is using a skid loader with a fork attachment and a bulldozer to get trucks...
