Makes sense. They are having a hell of a time across the board, so if you can only build some vehicles, it might as well be the high dollar/high profit versions.
The credit given for missing features is a joke though. I think it's only like $750 for the missing air suspension.
On a separate...
Nice! Velvet red is an awesome color (same as Octane red). Velvet red is the only actual *color* you can get right now anyway on those. Kind of disappointing you can't get a blue or a green. The Baltic gray isn't bad, but I'm so tired of white/black/grayscale cars.
Hoping to get the wife a new...
I tried watching a couple of their videos for a Jeep and Challenger 'install' videos and it showed absolutely nothing besides 'look, I hit the car and now the alarm goes off'.
That I couldn't say. I just wouldn't be keen to cut up my factory wiring to add it. Shock sensors were always hit or miss when I installed alarms (granted, that was over 20 years ago). Since this just activates the factory alarm, there won't be a 2 stage trigger (warning chirps for smaller...
Wouldn't count on it actually being 'plug & play'
Tools required for installation*
Wire cutter (for sure)
Wire crimper (maybe it depends on the vehicle) Screwdriver (maybe it depends on the vehicle)
Years ago was doing an autocross and some dude broke a wheel like that. However, he was running lightweight drag wheels that weren't meant for taking high-G corners like an idiot. 🤦
Welcome!
The newer ('17+) Uconnect 4C radios with Android Auto and Carplay can't be 'unlocked' for nav like the older versions could. The dealer is right, if Nav wasn't ordered you can't easily add it after the fact.
Of course you could swap the radio out for a unit with Nav, but like jroyk...
Plenty of people would be willing to swap console/shifter for bench seat (although it wouldn't match exactly). Several people have done the swap on the Ram forum (not in a TRX). But if you put the dial shifter back in, then where would you put all this stuff?
They specifically created the console shifter for the TRX so I doubt it.
Although you never know if enough people ask for it.
Then again, plenty of people have asked for a 392 1500 of some type and it's never happened so.... 🤷♂️
So just like the Ram 1500. We'll have an all-new electric or hybrid Charger/Challenger, and they'll continue to sell the current V8 cars (as long as they continue to sell well and don't get killed by changing emissions standards) labeled as Charger/Challenger 'Classic'?🤔
'except the Mustang' is the key phrase. Ford is expanding Mustang into its own brand much like Chevy is going to expand Corvette into multiple vehicles (including an SUV). They already have the 'Mustang' Mach-E. Now they can stick the Mustang name on a 4 door sedan too. Why not? Nothing is...
Anything an auto manufacturer owns (whether they built it or not) can have M plates. Here are a Chevy owned Ferrari and Porsche with M plates being benchmarked against C8 Z06 mules.
That Hornet pic is a concept from 2006. Seriously doubt it'll look anything like that. (Please God, don't let it look like that!)

Tonale (Toenail) is a stupid name, but it is a good looking little CUV thing. Of course there's no guarantee the...
Plus the cars (mostly Ram trucks) that are being sold are doing so without a mountain of cash rebates. I think you'd find there are also a crapload more custom factory orders vs prior years. When there's slim pickings on the lot (and no incentives) might as well order exactly what you want. And...
