-Hellcat V8 doesn't fit.
-V10 production ended long ago.
-Viper assembly (Conner Ave) was turned into a museum and office space several years ago.
-Any new engine/chassis configuration would have to be EPA/crash tested, etc.
-After Viper production ended in '17 there were still brand new...
Like it or not the Challenger (and Charger) is the new Mustang. :p
Everyone who sees 'Mustang' in a headline knows with 99% certainty what's coming next.
I'm sure the responsible GT350/500 owners don't appreciate being lumped in with idiot V6/5.0 drivers either. ;)
My son keeps his Charger fob in a Ticonn faraday pouch-

And I keep our other fobs in a cheap metal gift tin when not in use. Both work well.
Pontiac had to sell the business case to GM brass under the pretense of a 'comuter car' to get it built at all. Even then they were grudgingly given a shoestring budget and had to use as many existing components as possible. Imagine if they had given Pontiac a proper development budget and...
It's not that hard to believe. My son's '17 Charger has a bad trunk popper button in the trunk taillight assembly. The bracket holding it completely rusted out. The button and short harness are completely removable from the taillight assembly, but the button can't be purchased separately. Have...
Rock Auto shows a new one comes with the pigtail, so I don't think you could easily unplug it from the damper body even if you wanted to. And the struts are about $600/ea so I'd definitely give splicing a try first.
True, but then again people that NEED a car aren't usually shopping for Challengers and Mustangs that can't be found on a dealer's lot anyway.
At first I thought the 'madness' paper in your pic was his plate. I was behind a guy the other day who had made his own paper licence plate that read...
Chrysler will be all electric. Is that really a big deal? No other Stella brand is promised to be 100% electric by 2028 (although there will be some battery powered vehicles for sure). Chrysler only has the soon to be dead 300, and the Pacifica minivan (already available as a plug-in hybrid). So...
That's not really a 'car' though. Just an overpriced tuner package attached to a historic name. You can bring your own used '20 or '21 GT500 + $55k and turn it into a KR.
Your point remains though, any KRs will still bring stupid money.
The color shown is Gold Rush that's been available for the last 2 years. Originally it was only on the 50th anniversary Challengers, then became available for other Challengers/Chargers for '21. Not currently on the '22 build & price site though. No idea if you can (or will be able to) order it.
It's red on the bottom and has fancy contrasting stitching on it (upper and lower parts).
On '21s it looks like all SRTs have black door and center armrests (regardless of premium group or not). R/Ts do have red armrests for some reason.
'22 SRTs might have gotten the red arm rests now (based...
They're already trying $30k ADM on the 'mix-and-match special' (Jailbreak), so I'd say $50k for a true 'end of an era' special edition (if such a thing were to happen).
I'd imagine the keys stay with the vehicle in a 'secured' assembly plant holding lot. Too easy for them to get lost or cause chaos/delays in shipping otherwise.
