I’m not sure how much boost change there would be if we removed the overdrive in the rear. Tuner said it’s very happy at 26. So if he’s good with it, I am. This is being tuned on pump ethanol.
Yes low 80’s. He’s been conservative with timing thus far, which is good. If I can make big power that way I’m good. Curious where boost ends up. I have a cam and headers and was surprised to see it this high. @Primetime Hellcat 17 made 21.5 with .25” bigger pulley. Like I said it was super hot out, maybe blower heat? But the IATs on this thing are crazy low.
Boost / Heat have a hand and hand, but the IATs with this blower are crazy good so far from what he is seeing. I’ll obviously give a full report once we are settled. I have talked to another guy who had a Maggie on stock CI and actually threw 26psi at it with stock internals. Lasted awhile until he sprayed it. Also saw 26psi with the same pulley combo.
Lol guys someone has to do some R&D.
FFBOS and Marc are right. The Maggie runs so much cooler than the stock SC. We’re gonna hit the rollers again in October/November when it cools off.
119 degrees today.
Nice thread FFBOS now I gotta go update mine lol
