Same applies to 2 doors, takes a liitle to encourage the Kenne Bell to have street manners off idle (it's version of off idle is lots or power right now), but it's too much fun not to drive on the street

I understand the problems with a stock ported front bearing plate. I did this to mine 4 years ago before any shop was doing it. That's why I had to go to a Whipple. It put to much stress on the bearing plate and flexed the rotor's. I went with a billet aftermarket bearing plate this time. I'm still in the RND phase with this car. I agree the 3.8 Whipple will be the best S/C for an upgrade when they come out.
One thing about my setup it will never be just a race car / trailer car. I have way to much fun driving this 4 door sedan.
Hopefully the FAS bearing plate issues were a short term thing. One thing I know is those blowers don’t like RPM. We are seeing more and more come apart. As long as you aren’t WOT a lot, you might last a bit. It’s an all in setup for sure makes boost and also a lot of heat.
I’ll be there Thursday evening unless something crazy gets in the way. Weather is looking too good. Last time this happened I only managed 3 runs in 3 hours with how busy it was. Hoping it’s not packed again.....

In the same boat - bolted the Jokerz ported blower on but still waiting on the new TB. Weather’s looking too good to pass up so going to bolt on the stock TB and send it. Will be coming from 3 hrs south, so hoping the prep’s on-point. Seems like it usually is for Sticky Thursday.

Good results Brian. So...... rounding up, you ran 119mph in the 1/8 and 150mph in the 1/4. Stock 6.2 displacement with stock heads and at full weight with the un-ported version of the 2.65 Magnuson. On the first time out! ...... Hello 🤨

Thanks. Yes I’m impressed with pussy footing it out of the hole to grab a log. Tried one more pass and it was a no go, then more people broke. My tuner made some nice changes to the shifts that will send even better. Also found out we didn’t even hit its “peak” for timing on pump E.
