Not a TV show. It's a drag racing/car show event they've been doing the last few years before/during the Woodward Dream Cruise. (Although I'm sure some of it will make it onto MotorTrend TV at some point).
Built on the website or at dealer? Website is just a toy to play around with. If it's gone from from the dealer system then maybe there's a part shortage?
Good luck. These have been around for ages. If they worked that well, everyone would have one (or they'd be standard equipment from the manufacturer). The theory is sound, But a car has too many parts that are isolated by rubber bushings, paint, etc for it to be really effective...
There are 2 separate discounts. The F&F can be given to basically anyone and is 1% below invoice. The 'real' employee discount is 5% below invoice and is limited to the employee and immediate family (spouse, kids, bro/sis, grandparents, parents, legit in-laws). In both cases a Stellantis...
Dealership guys don't work for FCA/Stellantis/whatever. Same as the Best Buy guys don't work for Sony/Samsung/etc.
Doesn't mean they shouldn't know the details of the product they sell/service though...
Like Bull said, deflects air towards your front brakes for better cooling. Works fine on narrow bodies too. Do you really need it? Not really, but it definitely doesn't hurt.
No rubbing at all. Wheels are Velgen VRF5, tires are Firestone Firehawk Indy 500
Front 20x9.5 +18 offset w/ 275/40/20
Rear 20x11 +22 offset w/ 305/35/20
315/35 would be exactly the same OD as 275/40, but the Indy 500 was only available in 305/35. It's only about 1% different, and I already...
275 is the widest you're supposed to go on a 9.5 wheel, which even on a SP isn't enough. I had 20x11 w/ 305s and it definitely hooked up a lot better. If you're going to invest in a complete set of new wheels anyway, why not spend a few dollars extra for some improved summer grip too?
I've never had the offer (since I've never had a HC) but I remember a similar thread probably a few years ago (and probably on that 'other' site). It would be a hard pass for me though. As you said, not enough $, no comparable replacement, who knows who has access to your car for that time and...
Nah. No glass breakage sensor. Just door/trunk/hood triggers. See the vid at the beginning of this thread. That window is shattered and held together with tint.
