While the 305 will work on a heavily prepped track (depending on power) the 315 will give a lot more consistent leave. Especially when the prep is less than ideal. I do think the 3.09 gear may be necessary with the added diameter of the 315. That of coarse depends on how much power you’re making and how slippery the track is.

Also swapping out the factory springs to the HHP demon springs. Hopefully get this thing hooked up.

I am going to use the 315 for next season. I couldn't get the 305 to hook well with great prep. Tune was adjusted for it as well. I think it will help. We'll see how it does come spring.

I wonder if the 315's will help the 60' with stock boost cars or if these are basically needed when more hp or boost is added ? …..I do have 3.09's already.

I think so, especially if you can leave it RPM vs idle. I could only leave slow squeeze of the pedal off idle on 305's.

Just a quick note. I switched and I had high hopes. But if the Track is crap, well then the track is crap. The 315's will not hook.

They will give you a better chance than the 305's no doubt though with "marginal" prep.
