Quickjack is running a 20% off sale today only. I've looked at them a couple times, but being a cheap ass, just kept talking myself into just using my race ramps.

6000TLX is $1580

Thoughts?

Worth it!
Although the older I get, the heavier they are.
My car has Mopar lowering springs, so I had to get ramps that the lowered car could drive up on, to be able to slide the quick jacks under.

Also, if you get them, go ahead and order the rubber block spacers with it

Mine came with 8 blocks, 4 short, 4 slightly longer. I put the longer ones on the back.

The QJ is not perfect. It is heavy as shit! Buy you are young so that is not likely a problem. There are tricks to using it. You need a full set of pinch weld pucks. And if you have temperature swings like we have in NH, stored lines can build up pressure and I have damaged couplings forcing them to connect. There are tricks I have discovered.

If you can, I recommend installing a lift. I did not have the headspace.

I have owned two - started off with the 5k model - it lifts the cars just fine. When I got the Durango, I was hoping to be able lift it too with the 5k, but was a no-go, so I sold it to a family member and then bought the 7k model, which will lift the Durango, but I have not tried to lift the cars with it yet (I'm hoping I won't have clearance issues, because it is slightly "thicker"/taller at rest). All in all, I would say they are pretty good for what they are and their usefulness when a full-size lift is not in the cards.

And yes, just as Hunter said, they seems to get a little heavier with each use LOL, but technically, are portable, which may be important to some. They are pretty quick and easy to setup, just a little back-and-forth checking at all 4 corners when lifting to make sure the frames are straight and parallel, and the touch points are good, etc.

Mine is up on the 5000TLX right now. Have had it for 3-4 years. The frames rust under the paint and the paint flakes off. They're great though use them all the time

That's a good deal for them. I'd go with the 8000 if I had to buy them again

I just leave the rails on the floor and push them to the side, I put roller wheels on the sides of the frames. I have the hydraulic unit on one of those $100 harbor freight 1 drawer service carts. Unit is on the bottom, and I wrap up the hoses and hang them off the side of the cart on magnets. Really nice setup. Car gets 22" off the ground with the shortest blocks with the TLX model

You can't use the taller ones due to ground clearance. I use magnetic pucks on the pinch welds to sit on the rubber blocks. The rubber blocks will eventually split on you

I also sometimes put the car up on wooden stands on the wheels/tires, and then use the truck adapters. Gives me almost 30" of lift

I’m a fan. Use it lots. While not as good as a 4 post, it does serve its purpose. PITA to move around. But I put casters on mine, which is a big help. They are heavy, but plenty sturdy as well. Locking in one of 2 up positions doesn’t require hydraulics, so I remove the hoses. My Roadrunner is up on it now for off season tidying up. Wtf, I don’t know why I’m having prob posting pics.

I've pulled my oil pan, done exhaust work, changed the diff, the axles, diff brace, wheels hubs, chiller, alternator/starter/headers. A TON of work with these. And being able to go up and down between 2 heights and the lowest able to reach in engine bay with a small step stool without having to put the car on the ground and reset by just pushing a button and releasing the arms. I like them, just wish they went straight up

Getting engine crane under the front end car needs to be in air, use that on the lowest setting. They're great, and zero leaks. The stuff they send with it works good, just leave the hoses out in the sun to cure

They have an 8k extended version now. I'd get that one, I might get just the rails

Still looks like a lotta work...(and crawlin on the ground);;;I'll take a real lift any day...
If I had the room and overhead, I would.
But I don't, so these get the job done when space is at a premium.

If you don't have dedicated space for a full size lift and don't need to drop the engine out the bottom of the car, these are the ticket. Can get the transmission out with them though

I've done just about everything you would ever need to do under the car with these besides dropping the front cradle and engine out (not enough lift and lifts on an angle)
