Glad to see good results. Seems like a real nice part and looks good
Thanks, I think the biggest help was lower humidity, but the Corsa does look & sound good, worth keeping.

How is your winter 93 compared to summer ? Our fall winter and spring is horrible at my local stations.

Now just what does the coolant tank cover consist of and purpose?? I have made these commercially and industrially. For more than likely the same purpose. In our install it may take 15 people and 2 months.
The tank covers are just for looks, better than the white or pink color, IMHO.

Of course, the winter blend is not as good as summer blend, can't help that.
I don't tweak my tune.
I use the same Shell 93 every time.

Humidity is what we have to deal wit on an hourly basis, so F- humidity is sumtin is not to be ignored. A tune has to be derived by the hour here like it or not. Right now we have 34% lowest it gets. But to snub ya nose at it is not smart. Subject matter. Tank cover are made of what materials and what purpose. Got a good Idea. But what are you to achieve?? And asterisks?? We have built anything from 12 sf to 2,000 sf for heat, 1,200 degrees to - 54 degrees. Ice cream. Let me know if I can help.

We had B. Mason's Track Rental Day on 1/7/22, where I ran 3 - 9.75's from my previous best of 9.77, not by much but a little.

Went last night 1/28/22, slicks & drag radials only night, ran a 9.71.
I think I might have hit a 9.69 on one pass where I had a serious low fuel hiccup on the 1>2 shift, because I got my best 60' ever 1.403 on that pass but when it hiccupped it ruined the pass.
After that I aired up & drove home thinking what could have been.

Should be more good DA weather through March to try for 9.60's.

Time slips for review. Car # 1127 & 1463
WTG @Mean Cat Congrats on the New PB.:cool::cool:

Are you only running 93?
John would add a couple of gallons of MS 109 to keep my engine safe when my HC was stock.
I have raced using 93 and I stick to that rule and Josh has no problem with that.
I'd be very careful with low fuel.

Thinking what could have been, could have been 2 different answers.
That hiccup may have been the Bypass blow off valve kicking in and saving your engine!

My personal belief on a CAI, it helps better on a higher HP car. I had a LMI on mine and had Josh install it on Top Cat. I saw a difference after the change. I don't have a lot to say about that, as I haven't been at the strip too much since Covid.
But this year I am hoping to make a change for more racing. OH and BTW I love the sound of the AWE Track edition cat back. There isn't a place I go that somebody isn't asking about it and paying compliments on the Old school sound. I really love it!

Keep on Enjoying All The Fassssssst Fun!

Linda :)

Hey Linda, Thanks, I do put Boostane in it, 2.5 oz. to 8 gallons of 93 to take it to about 98 octane.

Yeah, I don't think the CAI is doing a lot of work, but this Corsa is eye candy.

That was the first time it's done that hiccup, didn't seem I was that low on fuel but maybe a little lower than normal. BMason told me that what the gas gauge shows is not always totally accurate, so could be lower than you think. I normally don't run lower than a 1/4 tank & it was showing right at 1/4 on the gauge.

Mine doesn't show low range until about 1/8 tank on the gauge.

I normally start racing with 1/2 tank, it'll go down to a little over a 1/4 tank, that's enough to get back home 1 hr. away. I try to fuel back up at the Shell by my house.

I hope you can get back to the track soon.

Mine will still show low miles

But once you get too low I'm sure you know hoe the fuel gets thrown back and your car can suck air.
Not a good feeling!
