Will be interested to hear what your solution is.

I sometimes hear something in transition bit I'm almost 100% sure it's pinion play/gear lash resonating thru the CCI shaft. That thing is a tuning fork and I hear EVERYTHING now. Lol. But it's about bulletproof so I make due.

I installed full AAD according to their instructions which leaves the suspension unloaded for final torque. I dont seem to have any noises BUT will be disconnecting some things to do the cradle lockout this year so I will have to make sure to check everything.

Still cant find it. Had drive shaft hoop out and that wasnt it. Retorqued all diff brace bolts, that wasnt it. Going to install a rear cradle lockout kit and after that I’m done chasing ghosts. Full send no matter what.

An AAD arm WILL NOT contact, but if you have a set of arms that are NOT made by AAD, but copied by others, it likely makes contact. Maybe see it better here...

Fu,
So I had a similar slight, clunk(but clunk is really too strong a word, it was like a constant quick muffled contact of one component on another) (drove me nuts), only at low speeds, we put it up on the lift, and started push/pull on every piece under there.

Here is what we found, and what what we did to get rid of it. I had shorter end links also, I didnt take pics. We noticed the rear sway bar moved laterally a bit, so we did a quick push pull on the top (sway bar connection)endlinks that were on the car, we were able to get the what I perceived the noise to be.

Now I had BWOODY endlinks to be installed, once these were in, there was no movement, and no more sound issues.

The other solution was going to be to limit the lateral travel of the sway bar with either hose clamps or other retainers around the bar near the isolators at the top of the mounts.

Sean

Thank you all for the insight. Went back in and looked it all over. Didn’t see any pinch weld damage on either side. “Clunk” has been only really on the rear driver side. Found the spring not in the cup on driver side. I think.

Is my markup in the photo correct? Let me knownyour thoughts. If anyone has a pick of how it should look please post up. Thank you all again for the insight.
