Nice touch, very clever, how did you transfer the demon logo onto your Kerkey seat? Details

Go to the yellow pages. Lots of places do custom embroidery. Google Demon Logo. Google Demon Cloth seat.

Just finished making this setup for a Demon. He approached me at Irwindale and I said I would do it. This is an 18.5" and it weighs 20.2 pounds complete ready to bolt in......17" is a couple pounds less.

TECH TIP : Sometimes the side of the seat is not square. So, the seat brackets will be splayed outward. If everything is just right the seat will just drop right into the car and the bolts will go in EASILY. So, now as part of my build process one of the last things I do is lay the seat on it's side on a moving quilt on a table top and measure the distance between the bolt notches. I have found that the 18.5" seat is the worst. I assume it's because the brackets don't use spacers with this setup. The brackets are usually splayed outward and that dimension is over by about as much as 3/4" ! It should be 16-1/2". So I carefully bend the brackets by pulling downward to get the 16-1/2" between the notches. I bend each side equally as I can. Be careful and don't over do it.

Also on the fit. I am 5'9" tall and 185 pounds. I sit in a 17" and I feel right at home. If I sit in a 18.5" it's like OMG way bigger. I don't like it at all. So it's quite a bit bigger on the fit. They also make a 15 and a 16 and a 20 inch wide seat. These brackets would not work with the 16 or the 20" but likely would work with a 15" if you turn them around. Best thing you could do is if you KNOW someone that has this seat is go sit in their car. If you are around me just ask. If I am not around my car at the time then just go for it. I won't mind.

I am going to have one of these setups for sale soon. It's expensive but it will be complete and ready to go (depending if it needs to be shipped or not, some assembly may be necessary). PM for price and exchange details. LW Kirkey 2.jpg

Everything needed to put a 17" or 18.5" Kirkey Drag Race seat in a Challenger. All TI Bolts. Buy the seat and seat cover from Summit.

Ron is the man, helped me a lot with my kirkey setup. I would buy this bracket setup in a heartbeat, way lighter than the setup I went with (lack of a band saw/drill press)

The height is fine. Of course it depends on your preference and how tall you are etc. I do not use the full height of the uncut bracket. If you look in that layout photo you can see this......

6 foot 2 is the Hiskster. Kinda tall fer a Hickster, but the knives, gun shots, and wounds proof the matches. Still rehabing and time fer sum redoing seat covers from Cali. My buddy is from Riverside.

I have put these together for several people now. I do have a good friend that I provided one to that is selling his. It was never installed all brand new and he is in the Los Angeles area. Brackets are cut for 5'8" to 6'height and width is 17". He is including the airbag bypass harness to install this seat. $1000 for everything. I am pissed because he is selling it at cost so all my time and effort is wasted. But he needs the cash for.........

Putting together a couple more setups for Racers and I happen to have a 17" AND a 18.5" Seat side by side. The 18.5" is larger in every dimension. Not just width. Sitting in it, the 18.5 feels way bigger. 17VS18.5 1.jpg 17VS18.5.jpg 17VS18.5 2.jpg
