18", 18 psi. definitely not hot enough. i load it like 900 rpm or so and tap/smash too. maybe im also too quick, want that 1.6 time and i turn off traction control to do the burn out and then just send it.
When I started with my car, I ran it in street traction until I got the feel for it. That way I still got passes in and learned the car..

Are you no prep racing? 305s are plenty tire. I have about 800 rwhp and fun 305s.

Cannot believe you are running without a differential brace? You will need a driveshaft next…

OK I think then you are doing well. Smokey Burnouts for you!
Once you are ready to do your burnout make sure your brake is as far as you can go, It is important that you can hold your Hellcat planted during the burnout. Once your burnout is done try to roll out as straight as possible. It really helps with all those sensors that like to help you out......they don't;)
Remember, don't worry about the time you are taking to get use to everything. You paid the same as the person next to you. Do what you have to do because when you get it right , then you will be able to repeat it. I took me quite a bit of seat time, a couple of months. ( I can't tell you how hard it was for me in 2015 when the Track guys, were not use to a Hellcat owner going through race pages. It sucked!)

Its a stock hellcat, and im running 18" nitto nt05s at the drag strip.

it seems 98% of all my runs i get a 2.0ish 60' time.

no point in more power if it doesn't hook.

heard that i should get a good 1.6 time with the stock suspension.

i run the suspension on (street) and traction (off)
everything else is set to track.
I roll into the throttle when i get the last yellow.

my best 2 runs last year i got 1.62 times, but i really smoked the tires before i launched.

gets frustrating, all these 2's for my 60' times.

I'm going to try the mickey thompsons this year.

any thoughts/suggestions?
I guess your A8 not M6 ?

Try 17's at 20 > 22 psi. with stock boost.

Always feel like I'm holding up the line behind me.... they lane crew is patient. Im gonna see if I can get someone to video my runs from the line so I can get a better idea what's happening.

Thanks. Think I'm getting the diff brace and the wheel hop kit this week. Hate spending all this money but it's better than picking up my parts off the lane or worse.

As of this weekend I have 71 passes and I got (2) good 1.62 times at 11.21

Need more practice, and seat time. 💺

Thanks for the thoughts

I am assuming this early in the season it is pretty much just test and tune.
If it is are there a bunch of cars on street tires? Is the track prepped?
You shouldn't have to spend a bunch of money on suspension parts on a stock car imo.
The track is at low elevation and at this time of year the air is pretty good. Not late fall good but better than August.😉
The 11.2 with the 1.62 60' has me wondering if something else is up.
What does the rest of the slip look like?
Mph gain from 1/8 to the 1/4?
In cool air you should be gaining between 25mph on the low side or 27mph like mine does.

That's about what my Charger ran when it was stock.
Chargers are a bit slower than Challengers when stock for some reason.

I think @Jimmy N. said it was because they have 4 doors.😏

That, and for the same reason you can't get the 3.09 gears in them.
Those paying customers in the back expect a more leisurely ride.
