Yes, apologies to those who have been following this closely. I should be receiving the car back this week, directly from Jim (Hater Maker) who has been great through what quickly became what I could only describe as a waking nightmare of a situation. I hope to be able to talk more about what happened with the previous motor in the future when the dust has settled.

The car is going to end up with a 426 built by Jim and tuned by Jon, of course. I am very excited and this ended up becoming a real hell of a build the second time around.

Jim finished building the new 426 motor and got it into my car this week and is now putting the car on his dyno tomorrow for tuning with Jon and of course, power numbers! Once that’s done, it’s ready to rock and I’ll be having it shipped to my house. Had hoped to go out there and meet him but the timing did not work out with my own schedule.

First idle clip taken yesterday:
I can go pick it up for you and bring it right to the dragway for you! I'll even pay my airfare and ground transportation!

Remember, I haven't melted an engine yet! (As far as you know!) ;)

Enjoyed getting to see @Jon-MooredPerformanceLLC and Jim @Hatermkr work together to dial my car in today on Jim’s dyno. Both awesome guys who have gone above and beyond to right the wrongs of the last 8 months and I cannot thank them enough.

We ended up making 882WHP and 808TQ on 100 octane with a 2.85 pulley and 863WHP on 93. These were all done in 5th gear so probably pretty close to 900 if done in 6th, which would be 1:1.

Full build list for this 100% built Schmittinger Motorsports 426:

6.2 BGE SRT block
CamMotion big cam (Jon Moored custom grind)
ID 1050x injectors
Thytek Ported and Polished heads (Brand new titanium springs, guides and inconel valves)
Harden rocker shafts, rocker stabilizers and rocker studs
Callis 8 counter weight billet crank
Oliver billet rods
Diamond pistons - bored to fit
ATI front balancer with keyway
Heavy Duty piston pins
Moral lifters
New timing components
New oil pump
New Oil Cooler
ARP hardware holding it all together

Other:

Fi Interchillers Stage 2 Interchiller w/ 4 gallon capacity coolant tank
Stainless Works long tube headers w/ high flow GESi cats w/ custom inconel heat shielding by ATP
FI Interchiller 1" blower spacers and blanket

Overall, I’m extremely happy and excited not only to get this car back but also to enjoy what surely is a one off performance build. I effectively have Demon 170 power but achieved mostly through displacement with a much lower amount of boost. Should lead to a long happy life for this motor.

I should have the car back in my driveway by late/end of week where I’ll make sure I post any driving impressions and of course, as soon as I can get it to the track where it belongs, I’ll make sure I share the 9.X time slips.

Thanks again to Jim and Jon for a great job. Sometimes in life it’s the people you meet!

Nearly 8 months later, she’s home. And she’s loud!

You're going to love it, especially on E85 since you have it in PA. I don't here in NH.

I wonder how much the 1” blower spacers help over the regular ones. Been eyeing these up for a while

My thought is the spacer itself is the barrier between the head so I dont see a thicker one making much of a difference. My whipple just clears with the standard spacer. The standard spacer makes a huge difference by itself

I can come any time, but don't you work for a living? We'll have to schedule around that!
