1 question,,, 2,000 rpm is wide open?? Now,, 20,000 is wide open.
LOL I will have to check with Curt to see if this thing can rev to 20k. That would solve all my issues I am sure!!

And the funny thing is, you get used to it pretty easy. Only when you see the timeslip do you realize cars/tracks are so much faster at lower elevations!
As you know, I'm not interested in being handed any slips.
So since the cop cars (and everybody else) are down on power, too, I don't care one bit.

Try using sport traction setting. I picked up .2 with a stock tune doing this.

Like others have said, that's 100% the DA. You can try dropping some weight, every 100lbs is supposedly 1/10 if you're desperate for that 9 second slip. I'd be curious how the IAT looked in the log. The 2.5 could actually be slowing ya down if it's getting things to hot. I think others may have had better luck with a 2.65. Every +1000 feet of DA is 1/10 off your ET as a rule of thumb.

IATs went from 130 at the start of the run to 153 by the end. Pressure Ratio stayed between 2.2 and 2.6 for the entire run with a peak Aircharge of 1,670mg.

Here is your run at seal level (0DA)

ET (1/4):MPH (1/4):DA :

Your Run:ET - 10.149MPH - 137.37
Corrected MSA:ET - 9.75MPH - 142.91

Seems about right for your mods and weight. My 2019 NB Redeye full weight was about 4750# with me in, I weigh 320.

Lots of cool auto calculators here. You can also calculate ET change if ditch some weight.

At your DA I think a 3.09 gear would be all you need to get in the 9's. At sea level, that's arguably too much gear with that much power but I'm willing to bet you'd see a nice performance boost

My DA playing around the other night:
Here is my dragy capture for the run. It seems my acceleration drops off quicker than yours...

Let it cool off for 90 minutes or so after you get to the track. Pull it in the staging lanes and turn it on and off as you move up. I will bet you get your best time.

I found some great track prep a couple weeks back and the car was able to launch under full power @ 2000 rpm in first gear. The feeling of hooking up that hard is an adrenaline rush that is going to be hard to beat!

I am still scratching my head at the timeslip though. The DA was terrible (4500+) and I am still full weight (plus my fat ass) but I feel like that 9 sec slip should be easily possible at this level. I am beginning to wonder if the trans has issues as I can't find any other reason for the times.

Any advice from the pro's? ;)

Mods:
2.5 Metco Upper
FIC 1200 Injectors
Tapped Performance Dual drop-in pumps
JMS Dual Pump booster
E85 and Trans Tuned by Dusterhoff (Running Renegade E98 at the track)
Carlyle Demon Killer Springs
AAD Drag Pack rear suspension
Diff Brace
4" Wiles Driveshaft
P305/45R17 Mickey Thompson ET Street Rs
Stock 2.62 rear end
Stock front wheels / tires

I used Track Transmission and Street Traction and Suspension with Traction Control still enabled.

Video of the pass with timeslip and slow-mo of the launch...

Like everybody else has said, 4500 DA is the only thing holding you back from mid 9's compared to sea level & 0 or negative DA.
Be careful though going from high altitude tune to sea level without getting it tuned for low altitude, bad things can happen.

Thank you! Kind of lose sight of the accomplishments when you don't quite make your personal goals.

Sounds like skinnies up front and better air will get me the 9 slip and maybe some air under that front tire!
