Turned out great...as said....like it was never there.

I did my own pointless repair once...these kids pushed my Thirdgen Camaro out of one bay into another at the exhaust shop, and one of them pushed the car by the center/front of the hood and dented it. I was pissed, but I didn't show it because I knew the guy didn't do it on purpose...he just didn't think about cracking open the hood and pushing the car by the radiator support which would have been easier.

Luckily I was able to get behind it a little...believe it or not, I used the opposite end of a wooden handled hammer and slid the wooden handle back and forth which eased the entire dent out - and it was on a crease! You'd have to look really close to tell anything happened...I got sooo lucky on that one!!

You can take a deep breath now...all is good in HC world now!!

Exactly stonewall. Under perfect lighting you can see just the slightest imperfection. Out in the sun light its all but invisible. Best money I ever spent!

200 for the 1/4. He noticed a small one in the fender, which I let him do. It added 125 to my cost but he did such a nice job on the 1/4 I threw him the gravy work. He massaged out the fender in 15 minutes. Total damage 325. Gladly paid!

I would beg him to take that kind of money from me for that kind of result!

Just got the interior back in. This is the 1/2 hole the tech drilled into the interior bracing to access the dent on the panel line. It’s all behind me now. Just waiting for my 2 rear 11x20 HR5’s to arrive from PK!

Just caught the follow up on this thread. Don't recall getting any alerts on this after watching.. So glad you found someone competent. That's the hardest part. And @stonewall is correct, they have imperfections (plenty) right from the factory. My brand new RE has little woops all over, especially where they bend the metal on the quarters' to curl around by the door jamb. Most guys don't notice these. There's plenty all around the car. If anyone brought their car to a body shop for a real professional, show quality paint job you'd be amazed how much bondo (or thick fill-able primer) goes on the whole undamaged car. They COVER it, then shave it off with long boards. The whole car is covered in a sheet of paper thin almost see through bondo. Some spots not so thin. Then when paint goes on, you see glass and laser strait panels. It's amazing the difference.
Panel looks great!(y) Happy for you.
