I have Stance Wheels with a certain type of locking lug nut. The stock length fits just fine. At the track I would not mind if I had just slightly longer studs to secure the rear wheels a bit better. Is there such a part number out there or are they just a lot longer as the only other option?

I wanted 3/4 inch longer than stock on my 16. Could only find 1 inch longer than stock.

I forget who...but someone had posted about getting longer ones for the track and I'm pretty sure they got ones from a Ford F-350. They were Dorman's but the point was that there were options. I think @Hpindy mentioned something about this in the past as well.

Sorry if I was mistaken @Hpindy and it wasn't you. I know you put out a lot of good info :)

14mmx1.50 RH studs:

https://www.summitracing.com/search...4mm-x-1-50-rh/product-line/dorman-wheel-studs

https://www.hellcat.org/threads/arp-wheel-studs.175001/

You are looking for units with a 16mm or .630" knurl diameter. Underhead length is application dependant.

No...not you...as the joke.
You as the always spot on resource for info.
I knew that a few people had posted about using longer Dorman studs in the past, but I couldn't remember exactly who, but I thought @Hpindy was one of them.
So when a few hours had gone by and I came back onto the site.....I wasn't surprised to see your response....I just started laughing because I should've known that you probably had the info at the ready. Cheers to you once again :)

I was going to get the Dorman wheel studs but as it turned out I was able to get the ARP ones about $5 cheaper . So I went that route . But I believe I did mention in my thread . @Stormtrooper1320

Not at the moment . They only make one set for us and they are the longer ones .
You could alway cut them off at what ever length you need .

Missed this. I have Dormans. Shop uses them. I like the open lugs that you can see the length of the stud. The NHRA likes that too. 8D301B22-40F5-4450-BFC9-FFE23726356C.jpeg

I didn't consider this...

I have a set of Weld S71s that I'm going to bolt up this weekend to my 2020 Widebody. Do I need to replace my studs with longer ones?

No, that rule does not directly apply to a conical seat lug nut with a bulge. It's the "mag shank" that is the weak point in that type of lug nut. A conical seat lug nut will not "pull apart" like a mag shank lug nut.

More specifically, the studs would not come completely out of the TI lug nuts on the left in this pic on my car, but if the OEM Demon lug nuts on the right would fit a weld wheel : EVERY thread in that lug nut would be engauged on the stud since they are relieved (look close). 100% safe.

What is the second stud? It looks like about 1/16th of an inch longer.
One is the OEM front and one is the OEM back out of my Demon along with the Dorman stud.. Based on photos I have, I am pretty sure the longer OEM stud is the back.
