Does FCA have AWD components that can handle HC power? Sure. Do those components fit comfortably in a Charger (or Challenger) without floor pan mods? No. And by 'comfortably' I mean within the bounds of FCAs internal clearance/durability/serviceability/etc requirements and DOT regs/crash...
Ha! That's funny. Yes you are correct all DT Rams are built in Sterling Heights MI, The "Classic" is built in both Warren MI and Saltillo Mexico, and the HDs are built in Saltillo Mexico.
True but that totally goes against FCAs MO for all "special" vehicles up to this point. Release one version, wait a bit, release another, wait a bit, release another. Lather, rinse, repeat.
The truck itself is definitely a done deal. The "Vehicle Identification Number Number" plaque we'll have to wait and see. Also curious to see if there are really multiple boost/HP versions as the article (and plaque) seems to indicate. Seems weird to do that right off the bat.
Ain't no FCA plants shutting down until:
-The government(s) order them to do so
-Or they realize that there are already too many vehicles in the pipeline and nobody is buying them
-Or supplier shortages force them to shut down

Regular old Charger Hellcats are still 707 for '20. Only the Daytona version is rated at 717, although that's really just trickery in how it's measured.
