Yes, I know. But if one lender is doing it, others may follow suit. They're all in the same boat. It didn't hurt to ask, and FWIW, they did offer a slightly better buyout, just not good enough to be worthwhile.
As of right now, no joy for me. The automated system (US Bank, not CC) gave me a buyout $3k higher than the residual on my original paperwork. When I finally got thru to a person I was offered a "discount" that basically put me right back to my residual value . I still have a few...
Following this closely. My Daytona is up in May. My son is eager to buy it out but the residual is higher than he'd like. Mine is thru US Bank though. But if other lenders are possibly incentivizing buyouts, it doesn't hurt to ask I suppose.
Is anyone surprised? All vehicles that were due to be introduced now or over the next few months (Bronco, Baby Bronco, CT4-V & CT5-V Blackwing, Charger Redeye, etc) have been pushed back. Can't have all those people gathered in one spot, or have the non-stop Corona news coverage drown out their...
Here. Oldest son was sick. He's better now. We'll never know if he had 'it' since they're not testing anyone around here that isn't sick enough to be admitted to the hospital. He's super happy to not be restricted to his room anymore. Spent Easter weekend deep cleaning the whole house. Still...
I've seen anywhere from 20-25 ft/lb mentioned depending on whether it's from an SRT, Mustang, or Vette site. Nothing concrete though, just random internet peeps throwing numbers out.
The build & price site is just something to screw around with when you're bored at work (or in quarantine). It's not necessarily reflective of what is or isn't available at any given time & it's not usually 100% accurate. If FCA says the Brass Monkey wheels are available, then they should be...
Curious how you did on the Ram lease. I just got one at the end of January too and I think I did pretty good. PM me if you want to keep it out of this thread.
Interesting that some of you are still seeing speed traps. I would have thought most police departments would be given guidelines to avoid unnecessary contact and possible exposure (such as a garden variety traffic stop). Ignore the petty stuff and concentrate on important calls for now. Go...
Mid engine, RWD Viper... that is also 4 motor electric AWD. Sure.
Sounds like someone is getting a head start on April Fool's this year.
Let's see how many more of these goofball stories we see over the next 24 hours. We could all use a good laugh about now.
Wow! That is quite a scallop for no discernable reason.
BTW- I googled that PN real quick and came up with normal Brembo pads (no scallop) for our cars and ZL1 Camaros (and probably most other 4 piston Brembo equipped cars).
They both use the same pad material. The Z23s have a rubber backing (less noise), the Z26s use a steel shim (handles heat better). Neither is good for track use but work fine on the street. Unless you're one of those who consider multiple back-to-back triple digit decelerations 'normal' street...
Scat Pack/Hellcat, Dynamics/no Dynamics all use the same rear brakes. It's only the fronts that change. So they could not have accidentally put 'regular' SP pads on. I'd even be willing to bet that the calipers come preloaded with pads from the supplier (or maybe already completely assembled...
Dynamics or no shouldn't matter, same rear brakes. Maybe it is possible there was a pad change along the way. My OEM pads look the same as Bull's and here's a pic of my '17 Daytona rears with Z26 pads currently-
