THIS IS A CONTINUATION FROM A POST I HAD AT HELLCAT,ORG
post title was Demon injectors maxes out with 2.85 pulley wth.

just wanted to update how the new tune is going ,a lot of members chimed in on this post and gave me advice as to what route I should go .I had two references from hhp curt or peitz (also others recommended theses guys as well) anyway my last run at the track was 8/29/19 the run before it I tried to log but for some reason the log failed .I could tell when it shifted into 3rd that it felt as if timing was being pulled so I made another pass and logged it , started out at the launch in 1st gear 3.5 degrees of kr and pulled 5.5 in 3rd gear and it quiet down after that but was still see kr throughout the entire pass ..I stopped after that also noticed injector idc maxing out as high as 103 on the log it was apparently pig rich so it never leaned out ..

I decided to go with curt @ dusteroff tuning and I wanted to let everyone know how the tune is going …
we did some tuning the last couple of days and I must say im impressed the logs are looking really good we did a 4th gear wot pull 4 times to redline 6500 rpms ,no kr at all (this is 93 pump gas no additives or race gas added )he had me do a hit about 58 mph punched it full throttle shift spark advance at max of 14.5 and no kr whatsoever
before going to curt I had race gas in it and there was always kr when I just floored it ,ill update when we finish which I think we are pretty close and we are doing a race gas tune where I will add 112/93 octane to get it to 100 octane
its a beautiful thing to see the kr gone (that bothered the hell out of me)

before the car would shift out of 6th around 127 128 mph now it shifts out of 6th at 136 mph it always shifted into 6th right before the traps ,now the rpm points are at 6400 so im not sure if it will now go thru the traps right before the traps or not but if it shifts before are right at it ,I can tell its definitely going to have quicker times

I did a log today wot 3rd all the way thru 6th max of 14.5 degrees of timing and no kr period ALL 93 OCTANE,crazy how much cleaner the logs look ,im going to try at least get 2nd thru 6th tonight and do some early morning pulls with the cooler weather to make sure the injectors don't max

GOT TO LOVE WHEN THE KR IS FLAT LINED LOL

Just keep in mind it's still 93 octane. That's beating on her pretty good 2nd - 6th.

YEA I ASSUME ITS OK BEING NO KOCK RETARD ,,WE ARE ALSO DOING A RACE GAS TUNE,BUT ONCE IT READY ILL PUT SOME 112 FOR SAFTEY AS WELL

well I did some logs on the car last night and this morning ,injectors started maxing out again as high as 105 idc ,this morning the car triggered a check engine light p025A for fuel pump circuit performance ,,after talking to curt it seems the car is running out of pump and causing the issues, fuel pump pulse width is maxing out at 100 then goes to failsafe and drops to 50 psi ,the pump was just replaced by the dealer 3000 miles ago while it was still under the bumper to bumper warranty but is out of warranty now I called dodge but no help ,,luckily josh at high horsepower performance had one they took out of a hellcat and made me a sweet deal on it . I overnighted it and it will be in tomorrow ,I've got my fingers crossed it will resolve the issues all together ,,,I seriously have become so frustrated that I almost considered putting the car back to stock ,I pulled the pump out today and inspected it but everything looked good ,ill update again after I get the pump installed
and when the sun goes down ill log it and see if it acts up again ,I must admit going with Dusteroff tuning was a good idea ,the other tuner didn't have the fuel pressure or fuel pump pulse width in the logs so never saw a fuel pressure issue ,definitely important to have a tuner who also knows what to look for in the logs and what to log ,,if fuel pump doesn't resolve it maybe someone can tell me if the BAP will? curt mentioned it but said the stock pump for my modifications should be enough

If you put in a healthy pump and still don’t have enough pressure, the BAP will increase the pressure. Curt is usually right about that stuff though, maybe you have other problems. Can you make sure your pump is getting 12V or better?

If you put in a healthy pump and still don’t have enough pressure, the BAP will increase the pressure. Curt is usually right about that stuff though, maybe you have other problems. Can you make sure your pump is getting 12V or better?
I will tomorrow before I pull it it’s easy to get too

I'm on the stock pump and get plenty of pressure so you definitely don't need a bap.

What caused the first pump issue?

I'm on the stock pump and get plenty of pressure so you definitely don't need a bap.
The dealer replaced the pump twice under warranty because of the fuel level sensor,it would get to a half tank of gas and low fuel light would come on after the second pump never had an issue with the fuel level gauge again

The car wouldn’t have any issues until the sun went down as the air gets cooler and it would require more fuel
Last night I tested at 8:45 about 77 degrees and sure enough started doing it again this morning at 72 degrees even worse , as soon as I figure it out the car is going to haul ass

Speedy do you log fuel pressure and fuel pump pulse width ( command percentage)
If so if you mind sending me one of your logs maybe I can compare when I replace my pump tomorrow, I’m curious what you pulse width goes to on your pump

Did Curt send you a HPTuner layout file to use? If not use the one I sent you a week or so back. It has all the PIDs I log in there. All you have to do is open the file in HPT and it'll load automagically.

Yea curt sent me a new layout and it has both pressure and pulse width

ok I replaced the pump this morning and still nogo still sputtering under a load and popped the p025a fault again ,I did some test according to the diagnosis for the p025a and it actually points toward the pcm being the cause ,of course I immediately started searching for a pcm ,talked to josh at hhp and he said he found it hard to believe the pcm would be the fault either fuel pump control module or fuel pressure sensor ,,,well I still had to put the car together so I decided to clean the connections at the pcm and the fpcm and retest I also loaded the previous tune where it didn't raise the stock fuel pressure setting to 90psi back to 80 ,I went and drove the car again did a couple of hard puills and it was smooth ,I looked at the logs and injector duty cycles looked good and the fuel pump only went to 86,5 % and the fuel pressure stayed 80 to 82 psi and no p025a ,ill know better tonight when it cools down if its resolved or back to the drawing board
