Had the car out yesterday for oil change and inspection. Haven’t cleaned the brake dust off the car or the wheels the last couple times out so I decided it was about time.

I just washed the sides and detailed the wheels and tires yesterday. That took a couple of hours or so. Really hate cleaning these wheels. Decided today to clean the rest of the car with spray detailer (car is never actually dirty) and then used Mother’s spray wax to do a quick and easy wax job. Only took a couple of hours this afternoon...after my nap!! Now the car is tucked in for another week or probably more the way the weather and stay at home is going.

I went to the paint shop and looked at the car that moved from yesterday to where it is today and has not moved any further. The owner was working on an 80's vette. I was pissed, so with the owner of the shop and I supposed the owner of the vette standing there. I expressed my opinion which was,, what the hell you working on this piece of shit for when you have this beautiful critter sittin here for?? No explanation. So, I said it again and again, till I got an answer from one of em. The owner of the vette said beautiful Hell Cat. Yepper, but still did not answer my question of why are you working on that when you have that to work on. The answer comes on Wed and better be good. Like I am taking money off the cost of your car sitting here. Actually, I needed the car to sit some where other than at my house while the renovations is happening. He said he would explain it to me 1st thing Wed morn. It better have $$ attached to it. And be done like Friday morn. Beautiful weekend on the whore I zon.

Wheels look great. Use Mothers spray wax on them?

You take your wheels off? Just asking because I want them looking like yours...

I did take them off to wax the barrels but I have some special brushes to help wash the inside of the barrels from outside and then use compressed air to dry them

Installed my Lil Devil fender flare paint protection kit. Bill informed me some customers complained of rock chips on the fwd edge of the rears so they made a fix. Perfectly cut and easy installation. Just follow the directions. Get yours now.
