I have to imagine that keeping a car pristine in cities is an extreme task. You can either own a HC with dents and go with the flow and not worry, or pay a lot for secure storage and never take it anywhere. Personally, I wouldn't live anywhere near a city. But we all do what makes us happy!

I live in suburbia....but only 9 miles from downtown Buffalo..(the best of both worlds)

Took it in to get an oil change and rotate tires on Tuesday, first time it’s been nice enough to get it out with no snow and no salt on the roads. We had two days of rain Friday and Saturday to wash that shit off the roads to be able to take it over for its six month oil change.

Back-in-the-day... My FIL had a very nice 560SL that the cats would walk on. For Christmas, the kids bought a car cover for him, with paw prints painted on!

Bought the magnetic drain plugs from go mango, put fresh gear lube in, (Mobil 1 75w90) a Upgraded DIRS-R diff brace (3# lighter) with the new race brace pad shrink wrap that holds it on instead of the lock wire design (that always slipped out of place). It took me a couple days to install because two weeks ago I fell off the roof and broke my ankle trying to fix a leak, anyway you don’t need your ankle when your under the car anyway, it just takes longer to get to the tool box.
