My neighbor got his QuickJack up and running and helped me get it lifted...

Got the ZL1 Add on side splitters on, the ONLY hiccup was one of the set screws went south on my so it's off to Ace Hardware to get a replacement...figures! IMO they fit perfectly.

The front brake air deflectors were sitting in the trunk so it was as good a time as any to get them installed:

^ The instructions were a little goofy but it looked like there was only one right way to do it, so I'm hoping from what I've seen and read this was it.

Was a lil concerned that the lug nuts weren't torqued to factory spec (110 I believe) as they came off too easy with my breaker bar, OR I could be exceptional strong...there's that too.

Figured I'd eyeball the oil filter and pan to see if there was any weeping, which I've read wasn't unusual. I had minimal oil on both the pan, the filter and the lines. I wiped it down and I'll keep an eye on it...

Not so sure about running boards on a Hellcat? Just don't also add curb feelers. ;)

Packed and ready to rumble. Not towing it to the nearby track this time. The complications? Need to bring along two alternate rear tires because it is too cold to trust the Cup 2’s.

Loaded:
Two 345/30’s on 12” wides
And..
The Jack:p
Six gallons of MS109
Compressor
Two helmets
Ramp to get the tire out of the back seat
Container of misc tools with a set of spare front pads. Including my favorite torque wrench.

Will have a backpack and a small cooler in the passenger seat.

Damn good freight hauler! What else can do this and probably do damn well on Donnybrook?

Had to drive the dirty bish, to work. On my KTM, the fuel line plastic quick disconnect cracked and pissed fuel all over the header. Damned thing almost turned me into Ghost Rider.

Cool pics man. What rock/splash guards are you using?

Are those easier to install? The ZL1s driver side rear clips won’t fit on my car. Both large and small. It’s like they’re not thin enough. It’s frustrating lol

IDK, but I know there are some welcome screws on these.

Fuel disconnect, right after troubleshooting and turning off fuel pump:

Fuel aerating, from broken disconnect:

https://os5.mycloud.com/action/share/2ebe9a2a-f7f8-495f-b074-f3d82b6478ef

This is what the broken half is supposed to look like:

This part broke off and is stuck in the receiver half:

With the "sheath" broken, the only thing left holding it together, is the inside white plunger and the routing tension, of the fuel line. As soon as I fire up the fuel pump, the fuel goes wherever it wants (path of least resistance). There is actually a scorch mark on the skid plate, adjacent to where the header tucks under the engine (and where fuel was pooling). I'll add a photo, later.

CPC, the manufacturer of the plastic disconnect, also makes the exact unit, in chrome plated brass. Yeah... that's what I bought, to do the repair, thos weekend:

Should have had this part, to begin with. It's located inches, from the front cylinder header and next to and tucked against the radiator. Too much heat, all the time.

It's there because maintenance of the air filter and valves requires removal of the tank. Makes it easier,as it is a no leak valve... So no need to drain the tank, prior to removal.

My 2018 ktm 1290 super adventure r. I've been commuting on the bike, shaving tons of miles, off the Cat.

Smelled strong fuel odor, this weekend and had to park the bike, for repairs.

I could prolly mail one. But I am very low on red. I will have to ask the wife if we have anymore. If not we can do other colors or design.

We're leaving early Tuesday. Unfortunately not enough time for it to get here.

You can send me a couple. I have a few more events in the next month.
