Last week I received an email from my dealer saying that they were having a 2022 model year clearance sale. All but one of the vehicles is an electric hybrid Jeep. Even in my town where Jeeps fly off the lot nobody wants any electric crap.

The Democrats are too stupid to figure out the masses don’t want EVs at this time. Too expensive, too many issues with charging infrastructure, etc. They’ll probably come up with another plan to cram them down our throats.

One way or another...this whole EV scenario....is gonna cost taxpayers a ton of money....and if true the "big three" are taking billions in handouts...it wont take them long to re energize ICE vehicle production...

They're not stupid, they're outlawing anything not electric (stoves, ovens, water heaters, lawn mowers...furnaces are next). Easier to control people when the electric grid can't support the demand and there are blackouts.

4xe is a cool vehicle though.

When it uses combined power, its pretty damn quick. But if you want, it can also get you 49mpg.

Hybrids like that interest me. It adds performance and fuel economy and the driver can choose what they want.
Attach something like that to a TRX and see if it cant get 30MPG. I'd be first in line to trade up for that.

Agreed as long as it's an option and not a requirement!

Great article...goal is less energy consumption thus lowering the standard of living. That is the path currently.

Fossil and Non-Fossil Fuels

[Actually, there’s another way to get a high percentage of non-fossil energy. Just make your energy so expensive that you give up on any energy-intensive industries or activities, and meanwhile, pay through the nose for expensive wind energy. Here’s the poster child for that approach.]

China is laughing its ass off selling us all the inefficient green products which are manufactured in their factories that run on fossil fuels while they enrich themselves and our politicians whom they've purchased.

We are shopping for a new push mower for our little lot. Someone suggested an electric one, well, I'm not ready to trade in my man card. Went to both Lowes and Home Depot, 3 gas push mowers, 20 electric to pick from. The wife settled on a reel mower she ordered online, yep, she went Amish over that crap. I looked at the electric then saw some batteries are $400, more than the dang mower!

I tried a Kobalt weed whacker/trimmer. Biggest piece of shit ever.
Went back and bought a gas powered trimmer to finish the job.

Sorry, have to disagree, MJS73 is absolutely correct, it is about the ability of others to control you, libs HATE freedom and the free market, and they are doing all this for your own good because they are smart and we are all stupid Neanderthals’!

Controlling energy (means of production) is the tool to control you. Climate change is their noble lie to errode individual freedoms and move the needle towards tyranny. But...but...we MUST to save the planet.

I’ve been saying this for a while. The Hybrid model makes sense.
