Jeep and Ram have the highest days of inventory available. 2 out of the top 3.

Crazy price increases is seen as the main problem along with bad attitudes of corporate and the dealers in my opinion.

Is the Wagoneer a flop?
They seem pretty desperate to sell those things with all the ads on TV and such.

My sister's Laramie is pretty much loaded and stickered for 66k or so.
I showed her my TRX sticker of 78k and told her she paid way too much (she got below invoice on her truck but still)
A Laramie shouldn't be 12k behind the TRX with a level 1 package.

The 2020 Laramie 1500 I had with all rebates was in the $36K range.

I saw a new 2022 on cars.com with the 5.7 priced about $14K below msrp.

I find this hilarious as they stated Dodge can rot and wanted really the Jeep and Ram brands...

They're pricing themselves out of the market. These aren't premium brands even though we'd like to think so.

Dodge sales are up, and don't offer any battery powered cars, and Jeep sales are down, and do offer battery powered cars. Coincidence? Don't think so.

Looked at it last year, was not impressed honestly. My wife wanted one, but when she saw it, sat in it, etc..., she lost the "flame" for it.

But that one hybrid electric Jeep was the top 1 and 2 seller in its segment, if I read that poorly worded article right.

Jeep plant makes a shit ton of the 4Xe’s
I can see sales being off simply because the plant runs out of some sort of part almost every week and sends production home early or cancels shifts! I can not believe how much part availability is still a problem?!!
Worse now than in 20, 21 and early 22

The illusion of a parts problem to raise prices. Less vehicles built for more money equals higher profits.

They're all doing it.

23 new on the dealer floor right now is 71k sticker.

Im not sure what my sister paid, she traded in a 2 year old Ram at the time that was paid off. Guess I could ask. I was just amazed at the sticker price being so high. But now the TRX's base trim is over 80k

My 2500 Laramie diesel stickered in the low 70s back in 21. What does this tell you?

Yup.
Profit taking while they can.
Can't blame them, which is why Dodge should have went back and upped the Demon170 sticker price by 30-50k. If dealers are selling it for 200k, might as well take some of that extra coin as well.

GM just shut down their truck plant for 2 weeks. COVID excuse doesn't really work anymore, neither does the chip shortage.
But even in my industry, still can't get parts. Its just maddening
