Still here. I've kind of avoided this forum because I was sick of reading about the Covid crap....was always one of the top post threads when I sorted "new posts". I've got the "news" if I want to be misled as to the state of the world vis a vis: Covid.

In any case....this is the start of week 5 at home. Wife has adjusted well. Me, not so much. I drink too much, nap too much and eat too much. I have all the little mods I saved for the kitty done, and she is waxed, Armouralled, checked over, shined within an inch of her life.....and it keeps snowing here.

Well, I did go to Colorado Springs a couple of weeks ago to get a car, and CO has lots of cases.
Here in our county we've been holding steady at seven for a while now.

Unlike OBC, you can see by my posts I am still around. Maybe we had it in early March but never had a fever or shortness of breath. I typically come down with a sinus infection this time of year and it just felt worse than usual. Maybe I should get tested for antibodies? Stay safe everyone!

Still truckin', but lots has changed out on the road.

Many distribution centers have people checking drivers temps at the gate. Thermometer gun in your ear. Most are trying to limit contact, which is great but so much of this is merely half-measures.

Truck stop parking seems the same at the ones I frequent. They say overall traffic is down, and at times you can tell. But still the usual douchebag drivers are out there.

Getting food has been a thing as virtually all restaurants at truck stops are take out only. Choices very limited at present and some have closed or cut back on hours, but we drivers still operate 24/7-365.

I turned down a load that picked up in New Orleans because they have one of the worst death rates per capita with people diagnosed having Cov19. Hard pass on that.

So, we basically hide in our trucks when we're not delivering the goods. 🍻🇺🇸👍

Hickster here,,, and there. Never know maybe in the mirror one morning. Sitting at home with a cold and getting worse. Not better by Thursday, going to get tested. Didn't get my car today, so you know it is weirdness. Don't care if I can't walk,, going to get that car out of the shop. Be damned to go to an instituation,, well a different one, and leaving that car in the paint booth.

Still here. Can't go out for a drive as non essential travel is not recommended. Moved the car but that's it. Haven't even cleaned it yet.
Racetrack depression is real. 😪
Going on almost six months of no car no track.
The weather kinda sucks also so no motivation from that.
The garage is getting cleaned so the car will be next.👍

Go for a ride, anyway. Michigan has the most draconian gov in the country. Non essential travel is "prohibited", but no one is getting pulled over and questioned. You're social distancing and besides, if you leave home and end up where you started, have you really "traveled"?

At the moment I am e mailing the insurance company to put collision back on. But with the language barrier here I don't want to take chances. I want to be sure the person at the other end understands what I want. The offices are closed so can't call. I hope they call me back.
My French writing sucks way worse than Frenchcat's English verbal or written.
They have been giving people a hard time here for traveling out of their areas.
The snow isn't completely gone here yet. Should be ready by May 1st.
For now I just look at old videos.

Got some good news today that we have the 45-minute test in house. Used that to clear 9 patients today. Great news for them! Stay safe everyone and thanks for keeping me entertained during my days off!
