Hopefully it's fixed up now. Fwiw my buddy ran a 10.15 in the summer with similar mods as you. And that was before we heard of trans tuning.

Thanks man congrats on the impressive runs today , I have a line on a Jlt intake but I’d like the best but the jlt liked to do ok and I’m not at the level you are
To be honest you can't go wrong on either of the intake. Go with the best deal . They are great supporting mods in my opinion.

Just so you know I checked and the da here was about 1000ft lower. LOL
Apparently Nick and Carl ran a 4.04 in the 1/8 today with the Napierville car in the pro mod race. Apparently on a soft launch with a .96 60'.
I should have gone today.
Pfff only a .96 sixty foot . What was it a Prius!

I was there to witness hpindy's passes. His car is no joke. At one point they told him he could only use the left lane (crappy lane prep gone) because they didn't wan't him embarrassing Demon's at a Demon event. True story! I was there when he asked why he wasn't allowed to run the right lane. They said it was for Demons and fast cars only all of a sudden.o_O:rolleyes: He still went faster then any Demon there. :oops: Actually only two cars went faster then Hpindy all day. A charger with a 426 hemi and twin turbo's ran 9.7 and a Pontiac Firebird with god knows what monster engine and nitrous ran 9.6. Both cars had wheelie bars, big slicks and where trailered to the event. The charger had a industrial fan setup to cool his car while hpindy was hot lapping:ROFLMAO:

Like I said these results are with my car yesterday . A different day might make different results . A different car will get different results. I have no bias towards any company I just want the part that is going to work best on my car . I bought both of these intakes used from forum members. No side deals, no favoritism, no hidden agenda. Just good old fashion track testing fun!

The gold wrap is great stuff to help keep heat away. We made a custom air box for my car. I put the gold wrap on the inside so you don't see it. Then wrapped the outside with carbon fiber. Something to think about in the future. Your build is moving right along.





Pretty cool right there! Very creative. Nice work I like it.

Can you add the DA beside each run? If that LMI made that much difference I'm ordering one LOL. My old car picked up 35 RWHP with a home made CAI I did up for the Magnuson supercharger over the stock air box. I didn't think they made that big of a difference on a Hellcat, but your results are impressive, granted a few mods may have hit the limit on the stock box for your car.

I don't think I have a pic of DA for every run . We did check it frequently . And to be fair my best pass with the JLT was the first one to with a cool engine . The stock box was mid day between 1:00pm-2:30pm and the best Lmi runs were from 2:30pm-4:30 pm . The DA was probably 3300 for the worst stock box run . I also have a fastman 95MM throttle body and demon cam shaft too . I believed that helped with the bigger CAI's . I noticed it on the back end of the track .

Gotcha, I usually write it on my time slips for reference thought maybe you had as well. Picking up 3/10 and 3-5MPH mph is pretty dang good.

I'll be curious what you find in the logs.

We talked about writing it on the time slip yesterday but none of us a pen lol . I have pens in my car now.

The funny part is it was only about 1mph in the 1/8 difference. It was all on the back end. Another thing I noticed the stock air box was more consistent in the MPH (less variance ) but once it got heat soaked it took for ever to cool down . The LMI cooled down the fastest .

I was taking note on cool down .
At the end of one the passes with the Lmi my Ltr was 132 F and iat was 152 F( it's was 90F ambient air temps) by the time I got back to the pits the Ltr was 108F and iat was 132F just in the short drive back .

The stock air box with same temps after the pass were only down to 112F Ltr and 142F iat.

I will get more in to the logs as soon as I can.

I really like my little race weather station lol. It has all kinds of data not just DA and temp. I think it's worth having. Especially with these cars that are so sensitive to weather .
