Polaris Slingshot...?

Will say this though, I would consider one of the three wheel motorcycle variants like the Can-Am Spyder, etc.... Client has one and it's actually interesting. Not sure I'd prefer it to a bike in the old days, but I'm not a nut anymore and wouldn't be getting it for performance.

My wife’s Spyder F3 Limited has the 1330cc triple engine and is actually a hoot. Hard bags, radio, bluetooth for the ipod, heated grips, semi auto trans, tons of power. Added a heated Corbin seat to it and it’s good to go. Im slowing down now and can vouch for the fun factor if youre a rider looking to still ride but do it in a safer way. Super easy to ride, it cant fall over either lol. Theyre pretty big and so you feel safer too. Stick with a 2015+, they revamped the entire lineup including the new triple engine.

And they aint cheap...tricked out ones brought serious money...I'm not sure the original company still exists...

When they were first introduced..my wife wanted one...they initially were very hard to get...I got her the silver and black...I took it out the first time to figure it out..told her i'd be back in 20 min...4hrs later I get home n shes fumin..there different..there a blast...2wks later I get a black n yellow one..put a white bros twin canister exhaust.and tuner...my wifes Harleys are 500lbs plus...and she aint a kid anymore..she loves her CanAm...both are manuals...my favorite...pin the throttle at a red light dump the clutch while tuning right...it will make the turn...better be hangin on..or you wont

Believe it or not...its so relaxing not havin to put your feet down and hold it up at red lights...I have fallin asleep at long red lights..

I'm a little behind on the comments, but for this year the Slingshot is considerably different. It now has an engine we developed in house that makes 200 HP @ 8000 rpm vs. the previous GM engine that had no guts. With a manual it's a lot more fun to drive than the outgoing model. The "auto" is an AMT and is not my cup of tea. You have to really not want to shift your own gears to get the AMT version. I highly recommend a test drive of an AMT vs. the manual is you're considering the auto version.
I'm in full agreement that a motorcycle is a lot more capable, but the side by side nature of a Slingshot and the fact that it uses automotive controls like pedals and a steering wheel and a normal shifter gets a lot of people into a vehicle that isn't a boring Miata and yet still has a lot of the same open air appeal.
I don't and won't ever own one I expect. It's not what I'm looking for. I expect that most of us want a little better performance than a Slingshot brings. It's a fun rental on vacation in Hawaii though. Did that a couple of years ago.
