EVs should have their own class, events, etc that way people that are interested in them can go watch and participate without the rest of us having to deal with them at our events.

Never saw that and I think I would have especially back in 2015 when we were there 3 Xs a week T&T and R&D with our Hellcats!

They used to do it on Friday night TnT, well that when I saw them the most. If there was a bunch of them, they'd run them enmasse like they would do with bikes just to get them out of the way. I couldn't believe they had those roller skate wheels on the front blades. I was amazed that they were that fast, and smoe had a special track which I guess was supposed to act like a slick.

I remember way back in the 80's, a car load of us drove up to Quebec to our 1st ever Top Fuel NHRA event at Sanair Speedway.

We were maybe a mile or so away, just getting close to the track, when we heard the loudest sound of cars racing that we've ever heard and we were all yelling out "Holy crap, Top Fuel!, Holy crap, top Fuel!"
When we finally got to the stands, it was nah, that was only the time trials for alcohol cars, whisper quiet in comparison to the Top Fuel cars which fired up a little later. Mind blown.

How's silent racing going to excite that next generation of racing fans?

And boring is still boring...did 550+ on a commercial international flight...was fuckin bored for 12 hrs...( its not what yer doin that matters...its how you look and sound while yer doin it in this case)

Remember vividly...48 yrs. ago..a sweathog dweeb had a cobbled together rusted bucket T with a 289...huge mickey thompsons...a death trap..maybe it weighed 1900 lbs...but it could launch..(sounded like shit)..and it was almost impossible to reel him in in the 1/8 with my new 340 Demon...had no trouble convincing people my car was way cooler than his faster (awful sounding) bucket ...even his girlfriend..(nicknamed 10 footer)...agreed with me on more than a few nights...
