Kudos to you @RGPIII very nice start. I had an SRT8 Challenger that started with the Roll ball and eventually had the parts welded onto it for an 8 point cage.
John, thought safety was highly important. When his goal became 8's he had his Top Cat installed with a custom Roll cage. I can't even imagine what the the cost would be to have one installed these days.
Leon Epling of Epling's Garage, started out just like you with using an RPM in his famous 007 Hellcat. Eventually he sold that and moved up to the 8 point cage!
I do think something is better than nothing at all.
I guess eventually you will need a welder.

I guess real fast cars need a 25.3 cert like my Buick. Not like slow cars listed above. Back when Mike Moran he needs more bars and my friend Larry Larson they made me go buy a welder so I could extend my cage for safety. I started out with some straight tube. And Jermery who was all about safety told me I should put a bend in it. Than Tammie came along and I had to put the plug in the outlet to get some power.
