I'm normally not a fan of the WB setup, but it looks great on your car.
We’ll see how it lasts over the summer. Any issues I’ll peel it off.

Looks good @WhipCat, just curious - what is the aux. fan used for ?... since you have the chiller & factory fans would be on with a/c.

Surprised there's room behind bumper for a fan.

Decided to revisit the wide body another time.

There is more work long term that I won’t want to deal with all summer. This rear tire setup needs more permanent clearing and I’m not going to do that to oem panels. If and when I revisit, the wide panels will be permanent.

First time ever on a tow truck. Car didn’t need the ride, but life is busy and the new chiller is going on to replace my old / tired one

What new wheel/tire setup is that? Definitely seems to poke some.

Progress with the FI interchiller.

- Had to ditch my 2 gallon front bumper support tank. The plan to make up for the capacity I once had is to serpentine some hose back and forth to create some extra fluid. This core makes my old 9” core look tiny.

I think you should find a way to keep the 2 gallon tank or have a custom smaller sized tank made.

Otherwise you’d need 44 ft of straight hose to equal just 1 gallon of capacity. That’s a lot of hose that will absorb heat back into the fluid plus the bends creating more head pressure restricting and slowing flow making heat extraction less optimal from the intercooler brick.

My little 1.25 gallon tank gives me enough chilled fluid to last just under 8 seconds WOT, just enough for what I’m doing. After 8 seconds is when warmer fluids start cycling back through to the supercharger. More capacity, more time.

Couldve swore one of the chiller companies did a new bumper support bar with integrated tank.

That could be an option.

Yea a Florida company makes a front bumper that may fit it. I may see how this goes without the extra capacity since the core is about double what I had prior.

I have the FI Interchiller stage one on my car and the IC SC temps would be in the low 40’s before burnout and at the end of the run they were close to IAT temps. I am working on having some lightweight 2lb frt bumpers made with a recessed area for the FI Interchiller to mount so you can still have the bumper absorber.

Initial start up in drag. Still at the shop. Hope to get it tomorrow. I’ll see how cold I can get it.

That is awesome! Is the cutout based on the FI interchiller core? What's the name of the company that makes it?
It’s similar size the Florida interchiller company makes it. The Australian core and their core is .2” difference.
