Mine is different brand but shows volts and % also. Mines sits at 13.3. Been out of the car for a few week and shows 13.2 now. Last year threw it in the challenger for a couple of days and gave it a charge. Will do the same this year

@hellman @vortecd Are those the same batteries of Chinese origin that can be bought on Amazon? Im still on my original in my ‘15 so will probably be needing a replacement soon.

Hate to hear Arc Angel went under. Mine's still going strong knock on wood.

Looking at the ones @vortecd got it looks like a good option and he's had it a while. I'm curious about the different sizes though?

Mine is shorter then stock but same width and height so I did a write up on the little piece of strip aluminum I used to bolt it down.

The L2-400 already has 150 more CCA than the Die hard AGM- that should be more than enough, anything larger would just be overkill.

Stealing the idea of the aluminum strip out of your thread as well to mount mine when it arrives in February.

Don’t think that is the same battery but it is of Chinese origin. The new one is the same size and height of the original battery.

Arch Angel didn’t quite go under but Nick is trying to make his own batteries. It’s going to be quite sometime before that is a reality though.

No battery is worth that much. That is unless you like pissing away your money on worthless CHINESE garbage. That won't last any longer than the lead acid or AGM battery that you have in your car now
It's about weight, not lasting longer

In my case it was for the relatively flat discharge curve. If the charging system fails the vehicle can run on the battery longer.
Weight was a nice bonus.

I'm fat. The car is fat. I'm sticking with a fat battery.

When you say it that way, it makes plenty of sense to me! I’d be better off loosing 40 lbs than paying for a battery to do that!

You are not the only one and I'm exposed to a lot of it through work

Has nothing to do with what I do. We have food in the lab all the time and go to lunch once a week and go out after work at least once a month with vendors
