I've never understood why they didn't offer that option from the factory.

I always assumed M6 was not up to the task with 797+ HP. If a manual was available on Redeye, I would order one. Seems like money left on the table by Stellanis.

Agree, but it might not be up to a 5 year/60,000 mile powertrain warranty.

Simple. The unibody for the charger was never certified for a manual. The process is very expensive and time consuming, and given that the vast majority of HCs are autos, they math just didn't add up for Dodge, Fiat, and certainly won't for Stellantis.

Well that would be weird since the chassis for the Charger is based on the Mercedes E Class sedan, and the E Class was available with a manual transmission up until 2018. I doubt that the chassis design changed much since the Charger and Challenger were revamped on that chassis platform.

Very interesting,,,, all of it. I got a H/C M6. Just all ways had a stick with high performance cars. Test drove, me and El Ri Cola whom had a Demon with paddles. Helped me thru the test drive with the 6 foot 4 sales man in the back. Ricola and I are 6- 1 so we had our seats pushed back. Didn't take me long to figure out the shifters. Poor salesman was still thrown around in the back. Thought the transformation would have been more difficult. Was not.
