That should be a good time. Chance to get into sick week? Be worth doing just for that.

At this point that's all the goal would be if we even had one. We went 13th at Sick Summer 2025 on a .083 spread IIRC...went .049 at drag week if my math is right...

They're not splitting the group like they normally do. Pro DYO (sub 9.99) and DYO (10.0+) will be running together as one group. I can't imagine that with a 300ish car cap, each promoter getting 100ish slots and each getting 3 classes that DYO would have more than 50 total cars but who knows. The Sick Week winner is entered in the same car and he went like .001x so it's gonna be a hoot.

I've been terrible at this "social media" thing...but...boy do I have updates!

We competed in The Circuit at just 8 weeks post-op on the bicep deal. Car wanted to run a little bit. Went 9.995 first pass at tulsa. Then a 10.026 and I wanna say another 10.06x - thunder valley fought me hard. Turned in a 10.081 after 5 passes. Back to Tulsa and car went 10.029 out the gate and a 10.064 for a 10.050 average on a .055 spread which got me 5th place.

Next up was Back to the Streets. Heads up no-prep 1/8th mile in Indiana. Day 0 was a party. Day 1 at wabash we went 6.85 on a 1.69 60ft according to dragy launching off LC in 2nd gear at about 1500? It's all heads up though. No time. No slips. Win light only. Went 3-0 day 1...then the weather hit. Brown county and wagler were both under water. Promoter made some calls. We diverted to Muncie and ran there instead Day 2 & 3 - went 2-0 on day 2 and 1-0 day 3. Walked into Day 4 at bunker hill at the top of A group in Modern class. Drew my buddy in a 1300hp 10R80 Coyote first race of the day. I tree'd him good and then The 10R decided NOT to make the 4-5 shift...that put me in the final race and him in the B bracket racing for 3rd. He did eventually take 3rd and I covered my guy in the finals. Went a perfect 8-0 on the way to the Modern Class WIN in my first shot at No Prep racing! Got a cool trophy, a stack of money and free entry into 2027!

3rd event was Speedfest literally 72hrs after leaving BTTS. Showed up for tech & testing Thursday. Balls hot. Car would only do 10.150 on the 2.65 so we threw the beans at it. 10.078, 10.081 etc on the 2.50 so we left it there. Day 1. Car drops a 10.012 and a 10.029...we do our drive and come back to a 10.077 - not optimal but a .017 spread heading into a 6hr rain delayed Saturday. I gambled that the DA would be trash after the rain and I was WRONG. car goes 10.001 first pass. Putting my spread at .028 but giving me options. .011 or .017 if I played my cards right. 2nd pas was at 1am Sunday. The DA dropped another 500-1000ft. So I took the launch down to basically above idle (1200 - no boost), took the slow lane and laid it over at the first cones.

...9.896 - I've never been so mad to run a near PB pass ever. Lol.

Turned in the .028 spread and missed 1,000 bucks by .005 ...BUT...STILL GOT MY WILDCARD INTO SICK WEEK 2027!!!! Winner had a .014 I want to say...and Montesimo? Who won sick week 26 with a .011 placed...3rd? It was a stacked class and .028 is my 2nd best spread ever so I'm not mad at all. Car made 8 passes on the 2.50 pulley over 3 days and all were between 10.001 and 10.107 except for that glory run!

So. TLDR - 5th place, 1st place, 6th place and a Sick Wildcard in 3 events so far.
