Jeep guy laughs in solid axle...

Three words (or letters!); IFS.

I was all in on the Bronco when it was announced until those dreaded 3 letters/words, which immediately reminded me of the '03 Mustang Cobra. Apples and oranges but germane to the conversation.

For comparable money, Rubicon 392 ALL day:

https://www.jeep.com/wrangler/rubicon-392.html

I looked at a very nice Sasquatch edition 4-door at my local dealer the other week and with the exception of the rear storage, which is similar to that of an '85 Toyota MR2, it was VERY nice, inside and out, top to bottom. The salesman however, was hilarious with his over the top arrogance. I've seen less pomposity in high end Euro car dealerships. Give it a rest...

Not hating, keeping it real. My current off road ride is a Gladiator Mojave (unfortunately there's no Wrangler Mojave, at least not yet...) and it's never seen a mall; I hammer on it in the desert here like a commercial. I've spent thousands of hours in some of the most inhospitable off-road environments that Arizona offers in our Jeeps and buggies/UTVs. This is my family's 5th JK/JL/JT Jeep and I'm well aware of all of the ins and outs, ups and downs, etc. Never been let down by our Jeeps, and watching innumerable YouTube videos of the problems these new Broncos are having, specially related to the suspension/drivetrain and reading about them in the forums I wouldn't own one for anything other than a toy...packed with recovery gear and a trailer of spare parts. I understand "fusible links" in suspensions/drivetrain so less expensive parts break before the really expensive ones do but I'd be REAL agitated to be pulling axles or replacing tie rods, etc. on a vehicle the manufacturer is putting out there as the off-road GOAT, priced anywhere for $70-$140K. It ain't; sorry...

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=ford+bronco+ifs+break

Do JK/JL/JT Jeeps break stuff? Oh HELL yeah, but for serious off-roading, body on frame with solid axles has been where it's at...since 1941.
Wife is anxiously awaiting the end of her Cherokee lease because she has picked out the JT Mojave as her next vehicle and decided she wants to buy this one to keep! We've driven so many vehicles deciding what she wanted next, I'm so proud:love:

Jeep Gladiator Mojave...

...my '17 JKUR that I traded in on my Mojave. It's Jeep's first "Desert Rated" Jeep (but not the first time they've used the Mojave nameplate). Day and night difference between these two vehicles in the desert environment...

Actually I wouldn't say that...the Mojave can do about 90% of what a Rubicon can while the Rubicon can do about 50% of what a Mojave does. That's extremely subjective of course, but the biggest differences between the two are the Mojave does not have a front locker and e-disco for the front sway-bar (because of the shock reservoirs for the Fox 2.5s). The Mojave uses a 2:72:1 transfer case so it has a higher top speed in lower gears and you can also lock the rear diff in 4-high, which is a hoot and a half!

The Mojave also has a different (reinforced) frame, cast iron knuckles, thicker rear axle and hydraulic jounce bumpers (which even Raptors don't have coincidentally). We strongly considered a new Raptor and while it would destroy the Gladiator in the wide open desert that's only a fraction of the trails that we use here in Arizona which are typically "Jeep" trails. Our vacation place is in Sedona and a Raptor wouldn't fare well on Broken Arrow, the Devil's Staircase, etc.

Jeep or Bronco they are all fun meaning what vehicle do you own that you can remove the Doors and roof and still feel safe? Yeh the old solid axle vs the Independent conversations😂. I’ll take the IFS for my girly driving 😁. And yeh for sure the good old solid front axle is tried and true which ain’t gonna argue that. Yeh the 392 Rubicon is nice but waiting for the right one to come across my eyes used that is. I’ll have one just matter of time and if your a true Motörhead you love them all.

Ok lol the Ford Bronco Raptor is the GOAT of production built off road vehicles. And would be looked at like say the Demon or Hellcats in there segment.
Well, crap. Guess that means my measly TRX needs to be replaced with a fire breathing Bronco.

Being a millionaire today is no big deal. Billionaire is the new millionaire.
It is to me. I'm now working on my second million.
Never did manage to get the first one.

On the positive side, I would've had even less money if I'd believed in crypto currency.

I dunno.

But I did know from the get go that I didn't want any of that crypto crap. You are aware of the Furd FTX, right?
Well, two wrongs still don't make a right.
