Dead Jailbreak Charger

Problem #1: I was away on a business trip and couldn't start my 2023 Last Call Charger Jailbreak. When I tried - it was dead. I jumped it with the front posts since all electric was gone. After the jumper car idled for a few minutes, my Charger dashboard lights came on. I waited a couple of more minutes and tried to start it. The driver headlight flashed and the Charger died - now I have now power at all. The dealership said to tow it in. That stinks but okay. Problem#2: I had a steering wheel lock which goes on one of the spokes of my steering wheel. Since you have to turn it about a !/4 turn ti have it lock; my front wheel is slightly turned. I took off the steering wheel lock but ince the car will not turn on; I can't get the from wheels straight to roll it out for the flatbed tow truck. How can I unlock the steering wheel.

I think for you to get the steering wheel to turn, you will have to have electric.

I have a 2015 Charger Hellcat. I'm not sure about the Jailbreak, but my battery that I charge use is in the trunk. I know that's weird but that is the typical place the battery is for jumping and or charging.

Before I knew I had to use the trunk battery I also tried the front. And had that same experience of no charge.

This is not a Hellcat, but a Charger. I used a video like this.

I had everything light up and then turn off because of no battery.

I needed a new battery which I also used YT for the How To too.

I would still try to charge the batter in the trunk first.

Put a battery charger on it until it is full. I've had the same problem with mine and I have to give it a full charge.

1.The battery is probably bad.

2. Put a battery tender on it.

I could be wrong but I don't think these cars ever got a steering wheel lock. My 2017 with electric PS doesn't lock. You may just be fighting the wide body wheels to dry steer it.
Try lifting the front with jacks (one on each side) and try it that way without a load on the front wheels.

I agree that I don't think it's a steering wheel lock. But, things are just stuck because of no battery and you are probably correct about fighting the WB wheels.

I think he should try charging the Trunk battery, like @DavidKFla says charge until full.
If that doesn't work, I know I would be signing up for AAA and let them come out in a few days!

U have jumper locations in ur engine bay bro if u need power to turn the wheel...... Just need a jumper box.

I m curious if the battery itself was checked ?
Connections at the battery ?
Power at the jumper terminal ?

Make sure you also physically check all the grounds. Specifically the one that runs from the bell housing all the way up to the passenger side shock tower. it will attach on the back side of said shock tower and may be a bitch to get to.

That one stranded me in the car wash with a power but no crank condition.
