No, I can only assume a lot of condensation for sitting for almost a month and only getting started to move in the parking lot or around the shop.

Heads look good from what I can tell. I've been on e85 for a long time all seasons of weather too. Not sure if it's worth doing a tank of 93 now and again.

Looks to be just a water drop when you zoom. Good eye though.

They found some wear patterns on some lifters and the cam. Not sure how marked up they are. I’ll get pics when I can.

I’m curious to know what you find to be the problem, also how often were you changing the oil ? With ethanol I’m changing mine every 1500-2000 unless I race it a lot then I change it sooner because it runs rich

Running 93 once in awhile does help with cleaning up injector deposits and whatnot. Inside the cylinder though E85 burns plenty clean unless something is drastically wrong.

I was changing about every 3000. From what guys have reported with sending theirs out to blackstone for analysis there was no issues with the oil. I plan to put 10w40 Amsoil in this one after initial break in. Has a bunch of extra goodies in it. In the winter I figure I'll step down to 2k for oil changes. I'm not sure if the short drives not getting to temp to get kids from school, etc. in the winter played a part over the last 3 years with the pre-mature wear of the lifters. Also, I wasn't "easy" on the car in the warm months. Saw a lot of WOT.

Honestly, I don’t see anything wrong with those pics. I’d be surprised to see excessive wear on the lifter or cam at this point too. Some wear, ok, but doubt it’s severe. Did you drive it at all after the dyno session?

With E especially it is vital to get up to temp. 2 biggest issues in my 460hp E85 Turbo Busa were injector deposits and oil...which got changed every other race at the WORST...every at best...and then every time I got bored on the street.

I had the option to, but I chose not to considering it was making that valvetrain noise.

Yeah heads looked OK to me. I run water/meth injection on my supercharged 4Runner and do once a year oil changes (8K or so miles give or take). I sent a sample to blackstone and the sample was fine. I run Penzoil Platinum 5W30 in it.

Dodge had bad lifters in some of the 5.7 engines. My buddy had that issue with his 1500 Ram. Eats the cam lobes up. I hope we're not seeing that on the Hellcat.

Some have it happen. Just saw another post on the Facebook group of what sounds to be like a lifter. Who knows, could be bent pushrod too, but not common on A8 cars unless you are living on the limiter.

Because of the boost I was at 6600 for the 1-2 shift, and 6200 or so for the following. I had a final revision for last years setup that I never got to try out. Had the 315 tires mounted and ready to go too. I was shooting for 9.4-9.5 on that setup with a good 60'. I had my shift points bumped up to 6400-6500 for the remainder of the gears after 1-2. The "plan" is to shift this new setup right at 7000.
