And I agree, Speedy didn’t get enough TV time. Maybe I’m biased.
And also, the editing didn’t help me like the other people any more than their entry videos.

Yep first episode is out, so now I can share a few things.

Not AT ALL what I was expecting. I thought it'd be an interview, some on screen tests to see how you did like at an event or something, and a driving skills test with a little training to see how quick you'd pick it up. NOPE.

My first clue was getting an email from a "producer" with "wardrobe instructions". Oh boy.

Next, was being taken straight from the airport to the racing school which had been turned in to a giant TV set, lights, cameras, boom mics, all over the place. Probably 100 person production crew. Straight to wardrobe where I was asked to take all my clothes out so a stylist could pick out what I'd be wearing each day. At least we got to wear our own clothes, but no logos or anything which was hard since all my stuff has logos LOL.

That 11:27 video took us 16 HOURS of time on set. Brutal.

For that interview with Goldberg, we had no idea what it was. A director's assistant would come get us, take us one by one to a door and the director would say when I say action, just walk in. No other information was provided. I had a guess it would be Goldberg, but no clue it was a set like that. Once we finished those of us that had completed that were separated from those that hadn't.

I was glad to see goldburg even knew his stuff about Dodge. It was fun to watch. Not at all what I thought the interview would be like. I don't think it is bad you didn't get a ton of screen time on this one. Seemed to be the mistakes made the camera. But I was really curious to see what you said about the electric question since you told us you'd be honest My guess your answer didn't fit the agenda if they didn't show it.

I basically said they had a big hill to climb on the EV muscle car thing and that they'd better be careful after being all about the "brotherhood of muscle" for so long. It was more than that but that was the gist. He nodded in agreement.

I was asked on three occasions about my thoughts on the EV program.

Good on you Speedy for being as honest with them as you could given the situation you were in about the whole EV charade! I'd bet a beer or three that Goldberg isn't no fan either - it's like the elephant in the room that most true gearheads would love to really tell it like it is - that we don't want this crap shoved down our throats, but then political correctness takes over and self-preservation kicks in. Whether or not you get the gig, you clearly are the best choice IMO and we are happy for you. Thanks for sharing this cool experience with us.

Agree. agree, agree. Go Speedy go. Nuttberg is snot leading the charge. A cooperate nuster is but Berg is good on tv. Like I mentioned, I have met him and his personality is well? But reads well and seems to be a descedent spokes person. Was fer WWE, A, EIO, whatever. Said Shenia.

Speedy that is no surprise they would ask several times about their direction towards EV. That is a market they claim is large, and viable. Also they appear to be hedging a lot of capital investment towards. All of this remains up in the air in my eyes. Personally I am not ready for it. This is a critical time for a lot of auto makers to appeal to the target base they seek with their version of EV to stand out against the competitor. About the only thing they have going for them is there is not any muscle car electrics out there, except the electric Furd Discustang with the only muscle in the name. So I think this is is why they are fast tracking this electric muscle because they own the American muscle as we know it, and want to hold on to it. The big problem is will the muscle car enthusiast be attracted to it. Judging by responses here indicate your right about a big hill to climb.
