They do seem blindly focused on the younger gen & what the woke corp types believe that demographic will buy.
In doing so, they are pissing away all the good will, enthusiasm & cash us ICE folks bring to the table. All to appease a group that (for the most part) sees cars as an appliance and has no brand loyalty. They tend to buy what's currently hip & trendy & Dodge ain't in their vocabulary and may never be.

You are right that they could have both, but seem bent on abandoning what currently is a lucrative niche !

And most of them don't even care about having a car in the first place. Self-driving mode of getting from A to B, or even just public transportation.

I meet so few young people that could give two flying Fs about cars...

First post updated with the rest of the story, well, my story at least

I think it was a missed opportunity for them. Speedy you could have created more excitement for them with the last couple of years of real ice, and helped them transition to combination ice/electric. If it was something was appealing. I would not be a bit surprised if they come back for some sort of opportunity involving you. That is if it is up to your taste go for it, never burn a bridge. Like I said missed opportunity just like tomorrow 4/26 will be.

I'm gonna say lets give him a chance. I've spent some time with Preston and his heart is for sure in the right place. If he fit the bill for what Dodge was looking for, no harm no foul as far as I'm concerned.

We've all stayed in touch and I told him his first official event as CDM needs to be ChallengerFest next month A couple of the other folks plan to attend as well and should be fun. He told me he now has Tim's direct cell number

I suspect they were talking Hellcats or SRT's. SRT Chargers also came before SRT Challengers.
