I have done all the updates and my car is also slow to load the performance pages, and there have been several times they will not load at all. When that occurs the only "fix" I have found is to remove the ground lead off the battery for a while and reinstall. Takes 2 start cycles for the pages to load after that. Noticed that if you try to bring the pages up right after start that's when the error occurs most, but if you wait minutes after start its hit or miss. Best luck with mine is trying to load them about a minute after start up for whatever reason. Dealer thinks its "normal". Looked up normal in the dictionary, and read that it means the dealer has no clue what is wrong.
Since April 2018 (bought the car), maybe has happened 6-7 times. How frequent is it for you @Blickie? And I always pull up performance pages each and every time I drive the car.
Rob, my '19 is running the latest Firmware, so Firmware is NOT the issue. Please read my other posts in this thread. There is another issue causing blank Performance Pages and FCA is not letting us know what it is and not telling First Level Tech Support what it is and.or how to fix. We could also use an actual ReStart/ReBoot button.
45-70govt, Hellcatcfp, and Blickie I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. What I can do is escalate a case on your behalf so that one of our Case Specialists could work alongside your dealer to find a potential solution to the concerns you’re currently experiencing. Feel free to follow up with us via private message if this would be of interest.

Maybe its just my pilot way's or OCD, but I cant stand to not have the gauges up if the engine is running. The other weird thing mine does when it screws up, is it changes the performance page icon on the screen to a square smiley face. Creepy little face, like if to say "I am the gremlin in your car and you never find me."

My reverse camera never came on last time I drove it. I never look at it, but still a sign of trouble. Also a few times there is zero sound from the speakers even though it shows the radios stations changing songs on AM, FM, and satellite. Same fix to get sound back. Oh and the speed adjusting sound cannot be turned off no matter how many times I hit the damn button. I heard that the 2017's were delayed in production because of a hold up on the radio screen units. I really think it was just pushed out the door to start production long before the brains fixes all the issues. Would sure be nice if Dodge would find a fix. Love my car, but will I spend $70K on a 1/2 nice car again---nope.
My reverse camera has been very spotty lately. Half the time the screen just shows black squiggly lines or just black. If I turn car off and then back on again the issue is usually fixed. If it happened 100% of the time I'd have no problem bringing it in for service, but since my bumper-to-bumper warranty was up 1 year ago and I don't want techs monkeying around and driving it around to try and figure it out. So I will just live with it for now.

The Performance Pages suddenly refusing to display is not a new issue. I reported this to uConnect and the SRT Hotline many months ago and after 5 days neither one could tell me how to fix. And both of those entities apparently do not have any resources to properly answer or fix the issue, which is the BIGGER shame when you own cars of this caliber. The person at uConnect told me point blank "they could not tell me how to fix the issue" so where is FCA Engineering and Upper Level Tech Support for these issue?????
I had this happen at a track day. Pulled PP up, changed settings (or radio), switched back and PP would not display again. Lost some metrics that day.

Matt someone with an SRT

Just crossed over 14,000 miles on my 2018 Charger Hellcat. This car is my primary car and I am not afraid to drive it (parking is another issue [ohcrap]). Only real issue has been a slight road vibration around 77-80 mph, which was remedied by switching to PS4s. I didn't want the dealer driving my car around trying to figure the tires out...so I upgraded to PS4s.

Another annoying thing is performance pages (gauges) sometimes say their was an error/could not load. It usually comes back on at next restart, but the last time it took 3 restarts before it worked again.

Lastly, almost got the UConnect brightness settings for day and night dialed in. Night is slightly on the bright side and settings were grayed out last time I tried to lower...so will figure that out.

Really cannot complain overall...great car for the $$$.

Hi Rob, first off thanks for the response, I do appreciate that! I would PM, but I think my question may be of benefit to everyone on here, so ill ask on the forum. As many of us are experiencing the same issues, what can be done that I have not already tried? I have already taken it in and the requested top guy (Viper tech) said that it was normal. I have several friends in town with Hellcats, and I am the only lucky one with the issues, so it is certainly not normal. I have also done all the updates hoping for a miracle fix that never comes.

Does Dodge now have an actual fix to remedy ALL of the issues I described? My biggest fear is having a low paid, very non OCD, dirty tech crawling thru my car taking things apart that will cause rattles in the dash later on. Then in the end all for nothing other than to say "it seems fine"--aka we have no clue what is wrong or how to fix it. Rob, can you report back on what the fix is, and what would be required to preform it on our cars? I know I'm likely to hear they have to look at it first, but its a problem common to many of us, so I am curious if there is an internal service bulletin out, that describes the problem and how it is resolved?

Thank you for your time and effort on this!

I completely understand 45-70govt. To answer your question, currently we do not have a recall or Technical Service Bulletin for your current concerns. I understand your hesitation to visit the dealership as well. However, your dealer is in the best position to help you with your concerns. What we can do is escalate a case on your behalf so that one of our Case Specialists could work alongside your dealer to find a potential solution to the concerns you’re currently experiencing. A Case Specialists will assure your vehicle is worked on by a certified technician and that you will have follow ups throughout the serves processes. I understand this is not the kind of response you were looking for, however please just let us know how you plan to proceed so that we may continue assisting.
