Big day! She hit the ground nearly ready to run.

1. Check and hook the battery back up. Trickle charger said it was too powerful to top off this morning. Fuck it, when it is time I’m hooking it back and firing it up. Lithium is the shit!

2. Prime it turnover once, THEN, start, check oil pressure, double check the level.

Done, ready to rumble!

Speak for yourself, doughnut boi. We haven't got any winter to speak of yet, and I doubt it will arrive before summer gets here.

Got a hardware upgrade scheduled on Tuesday. New left shoulder joint. So I know that until tax day, the limit is 10lb. Already did the right side and needed a matching set. The bench presses were getting a bit off balance.:love:

So just connecting the battery back up in maybe a few weeks to a month is manageable. Ha, along with driving of course. Hell I remember driving to PT the entire time with the right side busted up and that is when I was driving the shit Chev Tahoe. The Durango will be easy with the correct hand. I remember now, I got real good doing stuff left handed for a while.

Just want to be sure I understand, you disconnect the battery during storage?

Yep. The primary reason is to delay or cancel a $1,500 penalty for bricking the DS suspension controller (replacement cost from DSC). So for me it is easier to just disconnect the battery. It is bad enough I need to disconnect the controller each time I change my tune. The lithium feather-light does not seem to lose much if any power if disconnected is a wonderful thing I have confirmed this off season.

I have not found a way to tow from under the car w/o damaging the air dam. Ok for strapping to a trailer. Am I missing something?
Chain/cable will barely touch the spoiler if at all

Also if for whatever reason something has a draw on the system (uconnect) if you disconnect the battery during storage (from my experience) it'll keep most of its charge

Yep, if hooked up, that little car must have a bit and a consistent draw even sitting with no subscriptions or even a NAV option in it.

Disconnecting the battery for an extended period of time is a real PITA come inspection time in NY...car has to be drivin sometimes over an hour..followed by a cool down time..(sometimes overnight) to reboot systems to pass inspection..I much rather leave it connected with a good battery tender than waste 2 days gettin each car inspected
