Spent the last 3 days changing out my oil on all my cars before tucking them away...(weather was ok and I had a couple of buddies help).....I generally do it in Spring and I stretch it out over a month or so....oil looked as clean as new...one of my buddies wanted to buy the used oil for his trucks.....so what's the down side of leaving fresh oil all winter...and forget the PITA spring ritual...(heated temp storage)...never start them till spring..:unsure::unsure:

Don't think it's going to make any difference at all.
I had mine parked for over 2 years (with only about 1000 miles on the oil) and did an oil analysis for shits and giggles and it came back clean, plenty of additive package left--no need to change it yet. (PUP 0W40)

No issue leaving fresh oil in the crank case over the winter. Far better than leaving last years oil in all winter with its detrimental, corrosive properties. That’s one of my winter rituals anyway, which will be happening within the next few weeks.

I like to put fresh oil in if I’m storing a vehicle. Just peace of mind for me. But I do try to put at least 25 miles on it so it cycles through and touches all the seals properly.

But we all know I’m a little out there. ;)
