Why not use two of the options you presented together. Holley for control but also have manual override switches for functions you might need beyond what you might have programmed in.
Good idea, I have plenty of I/O pins left.
Actually I have one of the Painless Switching panels mounted to the role bar overhead. Ignition (power on). Fuel pump. Start. Intercooler pump. One fan that is switched. The other is auto. Accessory switch (lights). That’s it for me. I’ll have to find a picture of that.
You are where I got the idea for Painless for. Ive also seen that panel too.

I think @zhc has a good idea. Thank you two for being bouncy castles 😂

My custom 10” screen for the Holley is inbound. Steering wheel, hub and adapter have arrived. Just finished putting the final touches on the snout. Just an fyi the tba machining plate for diffs also doubles as a snout assembly plate 😂

assembled my steering wheel.

nrg supports mopars so i support them :)

button holder and buttons are from jegs.
Top left - bump
Top right - trans brake

bottom buttons are hard to reach on purpose. Bottom left will be line lock. Dont want to hit that while racing 😂

Nice!! I like mine. A word on buttons. The one you do not want to activate going down track is the transbrake. It engages reverse. The linelock only holds pressure in the front brake lines as long as the button is held down. A momentary hit of that button won’t do anything. Setup the ECU to lock out reverse in 2nd and 3rd gears so the transbrake can only be activated in 1st. Motion Raceworks sells a gear position sensor that can be used for that purpose. Safety device in my opinion. I will be installing one in my car coming up. My chute (air launch) is out of the way and big and fat so I can find it, but I have to move my hand to get to it so no accidental launch in the pits. Before I changed to this layout, I did that and everybody had a good laugh 😂 I have my line lock for doing the burnout on my shifter. Always start you burnout in second and shift to third to get wheel speed. 😎 IMG_5390.jpeg IMG_5354.jpeg

I already have that part in my stash waiting to go on. Great minds think alike.

Curious @fumanchu182, I should be able to use a steering wheel button for the STAGE6 2step. Been waiting for someone to sell one with the harness cheap. Haven’t seen any for sale recently

If you use a ground trigger yes, however two steps should never be activated without a brake switch. My steering wheel button commands transbrake AND two step.

Pretty cool tech. Does it have a brightness sensor that adjusts to ambient light or ?

It does not, I'm sure I could program something in like that but the brightness is set to Max to ensure in any light situations I can always see what I need to. It's a slider switch in the settings UI.

Very cool! How did you get the Mopar logos in your custom screen - does it allow for it by the average user, or does one have to special knowledge and ability to "go deeper"?

I used media assets from Dodge and their respective websites. The system comes with default dashes but they are not really setup for drag racing mostly twisty tracks and motors that rev way higher.

Average user probably not. Can also say the same for Holley’s UI customization as well. The screen is built by Nextion and uses a simple app to design features.

Sounds easy to “break”
