Might be 3 sick weeks this year plus you have the rocky mountain drag weeks version 1.0 and 2.0. There's a few more but I don't remember them.

It's a huge thing now. I'm going to spectate at Sick Week Florida this February to see how it's done and if I want to participate.

You really need 2 people from what I've seen to change back and worth between track and street mode twice a day and then drive between tracks.

Not allowed. You can only work on it yourself and co-driver. Most pull a trailer.

depends on their classes but I doubt it. Normal small block power adder class would be 8.50s to win and that would be an average. You can't go faster then that

I would like to see them add a rule that you can only go faster then 8.50 1 time at each track. If you do it twice you are disqualified

Right now you can make as many passes you can get in but can only turn in an 8.50 or slower time slip. Would make it more interesting if they made that rule change. There would not be 5 cars with an average between 8.50-8.55

He ran in Florida last year and will this year. He has also did some NMCA stuff with sick racing at a few events

All those guys get in without having to jump through hoops. It pissed me off when I didn't get in last year, in FL, but I wouldn't of been able to make it anyway.

I tried for both drag week and RMRW 2.0 - both sold out in about 60 seconds.

I got so pissed I burnt all my PTO on a single 2.5 week stretch and did nothing but work on my house foundation...which took 6 months. By myself. Getting maybe 4 days every 3rd week to actually work. With a LS MT125 Tractor that had a 9" backhoe bucket. Absolutely 100% screw foundation waterproofing and footer drain projects. I'll burn the house down before I do it again.

Oh. And after all that...ended up getting called off the wait list for BOTH. DAMN. EVENTS. and having to decline BOTH because. Well. No PTO left!

Also after seeking out specifically a 4x8x4 enclosed trailer to fit within the previous drag week rules and outfitting it with a full slate of tools and gear. Probably had well over 3 grand in it.

Tempted to NEVER try to apply again.
