I decided to start off slow on Mods for the 2020 Challenger HellCat after I see alot of folks getting "dinged" by FCA on warranty claims if you have the slightest bit of mods it seems, so, I did the mid muffler modification by putting in the Vibrant mufflers in place of the stock and I am pleased with that sound, and by keeping the valves active, my wife is happy when she is driving the car around with her "black" key... and I'm happy when I drive it with the "Normal" Red Key and in track mode. vibrant muffler3.jpg vibrant muffler.jpg vibrant muffler2.jpg tips3.jpg tips2.jpg tips installed2.jpg tips installed.jpg

After the exhaust, I decided that there was too much black for me, so I added my own version of the SRT Hellcat logo on the hood and the rear of the car, you can see the small version on the rear of the car where I posted for the tips, here is the hood.............. hood decal.jpg

We added the Eibach Lowering coils springs yesterday... The new MRR wheels and tires should be here on Thursday, I'll post the before and after pictures on Friday or Thursday night...... "Rona XX" is going in for a Ceramic window tint job on Thursday AM. We will also be adding in the Ceramic Brake pads on Thursday to try and knock some of the Brake dust off, since I don't want my new rims to turn out Black again! brake dust2.jpg brake dust.jpg

I'm not really sure how to call this "mods" or "build".... I'm use to doing an old ratty truck or car or bike and doing whatever I want to it and no worries about warranty or rules.... but , since you get so heavy a dollar amount into the car to start right off, I really don't want to risk the warranty this early in the game... I don't even have 800 miles on the car yet?

Since I know it won't be long before I'll risk doing something a little more aggressive with the car, most likely once LSR starts back up, or an open HillClimb race, we are wanting to go do a baseline Dyno pull to see where stock is for this car... I know what the factory says, and what the other folks cars dyno sheets say, but I want to know where my car is. I'll post a copy of the dyno sheet after Friday just for proof.

Had dealership put mopar springs on mine before I picked it up.
Not low enough for me.
My 16 had Eibachs, so I got some Eibachs for my 19.
Just have to find someone to install and do wheel alignment.
Crazy, with COVID, shops are packed now.

DON'T

A lot of people in the car world sell their OEM wheels when they get aftermarket because they need/want to recoup some cash.....I say don't. They are invaluable in cases of emergency and even more so when you go to sell/trade the car in. Most don't want your aftermarket wheels.

and if I'm being completely honest but polite; I prefer the OEM wheels over your new wheels. New ones look small with a fatter tire sidewall due to design.

Wrecked my 16.
Pulled my triumph wheels off and put OEM back on.
Shipped triumph back for repair and resize.
Now my 19 wears them
KEEP your stock wheels, you never know.
Maybe you will trade in for next year cat, and need to put OEM back on

What size rim/tire do you have on the back? Are you getting any rub with the Eibachs?

315/35/20 Toyo Proxes STIII on a MRR 20x11 FS01 Bronze rim Flow formed, so far, no rub, we did have to take some heat to the fender inner liner and move it in some.
