Yes sir, planning on it after my summer trip. Dealer did a good job on my new head...so will drive the 90 miles to them. Doesn't sound like bearings are toast yet, but hopefully loud enough for them to diagnose?

Taking it in soon. Tech who works on it is out all next week...so the following week. Mine is a 2018 SC, which has newer fixes?

Will keep thread updated.

Did they go to numbers as ending. I thought 18 were AGs, improvement from AFs? Will share what I learn...hopefully they don't say it is normal...never heard that groan until recently.

2018 added some ribbing to make the casing stronger and made some changes to the front bearing plate to flow more air. Also changed from 2 BAR to 3 BAR MAP sensors. I don't know what pn revision code was the first to get those changes. Definitely not AF--my 2017 is an AF.

Mine had a different high pitch metallic kind of hum. Regardless it doesn’t sound right and they should take care of you. I got a new blower right before my warranty expired too and felt pretty good about that. I’ll check my numbers tomorrow and post em.

Sounds good, thanks. Mine is a groaning hum as well. Guessing SC, but could be something else. In park and giving a little throttle, the rate of the hum stays the same. Will definitely keep thread updated.

Been driving Hellcat and all seems good except for the groaning hum that I can hear from inside. Doesn't sound like the traditional SC bearing failures I've heard before...so who knows...

If the sound is independent of RPM, I'm thinking it may not be SC bearings. I would think SC bearing sounds would vary in pitch with RPM... no?

Was able to listen more closely and noise coming through here. Water pump is my guess. Have appointment next Wednesday to confirm. Have extended warranty and was told it is covered.
