Hi Folks! It's been a very long time since I have visited this board. Life just gets in the way sometimes, but all is well. I was just wondering your thoughts on the security update to the RF-Hub. Is it worth it? Who all has had it done? Thanks for your input!!

Never heard of the damn thing. I did work on a nuclear radio frequency project at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. Haven't seen ya around Red Eye.

Prevents it from being hacked.

Well hell,, I guess if I checked my mail more than once a month might help. Also, may help if I had my car and could check for updates. Nothing good ever comes out of the mail. Like a subpoena for not showing up for jury duty, twice. Hospital.

just had it done this week - no charge - hope it works - what about the limp along security update where you enter a PIN when you leave the car such that the thief only has access to 3 HP if he gets it started?
