Hellcat AC Question

When running the AC on Auto, when I click into settings it always has air recirculation turned off.

Question, when AC is on Auto, does the system handle all those variables? When on Auto, if I change something it goes out of Auto to manual.

When in Auto, when I select air recirculation it doesn't go out of Auto. Just curious as I usually run air on recirculation the hotter it is outside and curious if recirculation is used when AC is on Auto?

I never looked but I would think that it would shift back and forth as needed. I never looked because my ac has always worked really well.

The recirculation just takes away the outside fresh air and "Recirculates" the air in the cabin. It is a manual function, possibly automatic when in Max a/c.

You can also hit the recirculate button in regular a/c mode to run only cabin air...handy when it's a 100 outside.

Precisely. When I run AC through remote start (especially when hot) I noticed recirculation isn't always defaulted. I can certainly select it before driving off, but there seems to be no way to have it defaulted on Auto? No big deal...was just curious more than anything.

Max AC = recirculation.

Normal AC = no recirculation, outside air.

This is the only difference between the two.

Hit da man uz ell, youz can addjust youz fan speed and temp yoself. Upturd whore down ward. Never knew any of this stuff. I just set the temp and hit the A/C button and everything is fine. But full disclosure, I do live up north.
