Battery tending...

I have the battery tender. I couldn't find it and I found it in the spare tire well today.

I got tired of replacing batteries when they wouldn’t start my 04 GTO in winter after a couple of weeks waiting for snow to melt. I got a HF float charger for about $7 and never had a problem after that. You can double or triple battery life with a float charger.

I have 3 of them now and keep one on the HC in storage and move the others around on everything else. I really need a 4th. They are $10 now and I’m waiting for my next 30% off coupon! I know the HF rep, but some of their crap is really good!

Cost almost nothing, and sure fixes all the problems. So far, so good!

Will mine recover with a small maintainer on the jump lugs? My car is less than 6 months old. So far, no good.

I think it will. As @jroyk said it may take a few days. I have my battery tender hooked to the jump lugs and I’ve had no issues.

My Walmart battery has been holding at 14.1 volts after sitting for 1-2 weeks between starts

My original 2015 battery finally bit the dust and wouldn’t charge, and was always around 13.6-13.8. This one has been better, car idles way better

I was hoping to go out to a car meet in the morning but the cold weather will most likely kill it. Frost, freeze and wind advisory.

I made it out to the meet. Small turnout but a very nice time.
