The guy just lowered the price to $7K or best offer. Getting interesting.

Option wise it's stripped, which isn't necessarily a bad thing...

Base stereo and manual A/C and no steering wheel controls, so no EVIC/UConnect.

Could be a fun project car as long it's relatively straight/reliable from Jump Street. I know some people hate on wagons but we (my family/wife/kids) just absolutely loved ours and it sounded and looked mean...the local college kids in our town always tried to get her to race their tuner cars and it got a lot of positive attention, mostly because the cold start up with that exhaust sounded insane.

@Linda's Hell Cat buddy Josh @ HPP could get you in a LOT of trouble with that as a project car, LX platform is awesome!

Looks pretty clean + miles & price are very respectable, I'd be tempted even tho silver is not my fav color.

I'm going up in the morning to check it out. I'll know if it's anything then.

I’m partial to silver. Don’t have these anymore but enjoyed them. Always got compliments. IMG_3904.jpeg

We've had quite a few silver cars through the years. Never had any issues with them.

I love these things, and my wife has given me free license to get one. Been looking for an SRT at the right price and condition for several years, and at this point, will likely never get one. I never understood why Dodge didn't bring these back after the turmoil of 2007-2009 - these things would have sold like hotcakes with a Scat and/or Hellcat drivetrain. Huge missed opportunity IMO.

It's weird since I wasn't looking and it just popped up on marketplace.

The one I always read about is lifters which go bad and then eat the cam. Most mechanics on BITOG attribute the failures to batches with bad metallurgy from suppliers. Some go 200K+ without issue. Others go bad prematurely.
Replaced my cam at 187,500 lifter ate the cam

also as mentioned there is a big problem with heater cores and the flapper doors, actuator’s.
I had to replace my heater core as it was plugged and then blew out after flushing it, coolant all over the carpet 🤬 PIA job!!
Then had no floor heat but was lucky as the gear in the actuator broke in half and flapper was good.
These are known problems for all 5.7l and Dodge/Chrysler products

This may not apply to the older Chargers but the recirc went out on my 2013 Charger. Basically, affected the A/C and the high speed fan would not come on. There is a sensor under the black box on the windshield next to the rear view mirror. I had a quote over $400 to fix it but a tech told me what it was. I bought the part for $49 and fixed it myself.

Headlights look badly yellowed, cover over the rad support is missing, mirrors and door handles should be body colored. It has a prop rod, mine had struts, they did switch to to rod later but struts can be retrofitted. It is manual single zone hvac. The tail lights are aftermarket. Since it has a roof rack, it should have a cargo organizer in the hatch. It's just a lidded box with netted compartments to help keep bags upright.
