Mph was 137.50 and PB is 140.77 but this was +1500ish DA and PB was in -400 I think. I ran 9.84 at this track in September in +2000 DA with 137mph though. This was straight up bad track conditions.

If it makes you feel better about the conditions...my only trip this year was to an airstrip with grooved pavement and fresh white paint on the end we launched from.

On 315/50/17 ET R I I literally blew smoke for 300ft and went 11.16 on the best pass. No MPH. Just a cheap Portatree.

Great video as always. What was the tire pressure for the 2 passes?

Funny how we go faster and we are on top of the world but go slower be it .01 and it is a bad day. You did find a positive saying you wanted to go 10.0 in any condition and you still did:)

What gear burn out are you doing @Speedy! ?.. it sounded like a 2nd gear ?... I've been having some frustration at the track also since I did the 2.85 pulley, it's been a 50/50 chance of spinning the tires, I had always done a 2nd gear burnout with 22psi tire pressure b4 2.85 pulley so I just was doing the same as always.
But this past Friday night, I went to 20psi & did a 3rd gear burn out & BAM, that was the trick, 4 passes & everyone hooked & booked, DA was 850 > 1000 with 95 & 97% humidity, the highest humidity that I ever ran in. 60' was 1.49, 1.48 & 2 @ 1.46 ; ET's was 10.09, 10.04, 10.03 & 10.02 ; MPH was 138, down a little bc of the high humidity that I know was hurting ET & MPH.
I was soooo happy that it hooked on every pass that it didn't matter to me what it ran, but it still ran pretty good considering conditions.

Try it & if it works for ya, send me a SPEEDY t-shirt  , Good Luck !

18 psi cold - with it being SO crowded I never got a chance to try adjusting.

I have the ZAuto Burnbox HC with the steering wheel buttons for line lock. I start my burnout in first and click through the gears to 3rd watching for a decent amount of smoke from the tires. When I see it on both sides I release the line lock and let the car roll out till it hooks, then roll to the bulbs.

@Mean Cat You've got 315 tires I think which probably help. When these 305s wear out I may go with 315s next time, but didn't wanna beat on the wheel wells.

OK, so your already doing a 3rd gear burn out, I don't use my Burnbox any more for burn outs, I use it just for cool down mode. I noticed when using it on burnouts it changes the traction settings, so would have to change the setting b4 staging, so to keep it simpler, I just put everything in sport, do foot brake burn out & roll up.

Yes, I have the 315's, & was still spinning on 2nd gear burn outs , 3rd gear builds more wheel speed to heat them more & it'll depend on if it's hot or cold outside & track temp.
I do like the 315's, after beating (massaging) it in a little, sand it some & spray paint it, is what I did. It doesn't look bad & can't see it at all with wheel & tire on.

Now that's weird. Box appears, but video never populates, box just stays black. Never seen that before.

That sucks because I am sure if you had more runs and time to play with the pressure you would have got 9s. I am spoiled because at Napierville we can get easily over 20 passes in a day so real easy to dial in the tire pressure.

Yeah I had a few things I wanted to test and play with. I wish they'd do more private track rentals, it'd be worth a few bucks to me to get all the testing in.
